The night part of the diurnal cycle on the desert BL is pretty dark and very atmospheric, and adds a different feel to the map when playing at night. However has any thought been given to making night more relevant to gameplay?

Stuff like lowering the draw distance on enemy players, lowering the agro range on guards/npcs. Perhaps making the shrines act in different ways.

Or even removing the name plates from enemy players during the night.

Neat idea, but I don’t think the nameplate issue would go over very well. It would result in more zerging as large groups could hide their numbers and roffle stomp everyone.

Blackgate Native. It takes tremendous strength and skill to pull a lever.

I can only imagine what would happen after a long laggy fight, when the servers are catching up, and the time of day flips. lol
