Guild Wars 2

Hi guys,

I downloaded the PTT file via the website like the instructions say to but unfortunately my Mac is saying that it can’t open the file because it doesn’t support Microsoft applications. Has anyone else had this problem?

I’m trying to download the client in my Mac now. Don’t know whether it’d work, but worth a try. The launcher is running now on my Mac, and downloading at 2MB/s.

1.) Go to applications
2.) Right-click “Guild Wars 2”
3.) (Optional) Duplicate just incase anything happens.
4.) Show Package Contents
5.) Contents > Resources > transgaming > c_drive > GW2 > paste Gw2FeaturePublicTestTiny.exe there
6.) Contents > Resources > open CiderSettings.plist using textedit or any favourite text editor
7.) Change C:\GW2\Gw2.exe to C:\GW2\Gw2FeaturePublicTestTiny.exe
8.) Run “Guild Wars 2” app.
