How many times now has A.net tried to add buffs to a WvW BL? Every time its been poorly received. In the Alpine BL, the ruin buff was despised and eventually nerfed. In EOTM, they discourage fighting and are part of the reason it devolved into the karma train. Now, I just heard in the team chat of the Desert BL I – “We can’t fight them. They have buffs.”

Please don’t give us buffs that affect our individual characters. Rethink ways to encourage people to complete objectives. I don’t want myself to be buffed above the people I’m fighting. That just ruins any semblance of challenge in WvW combat.

same feedback here, dont make this in EotM 2.0 the reason for good fights is no silly buff that can win over other team, pls remove it is not the way it should be….

i mean having 33% speed buff and 10%outgoing dmg is to much for a team to have over the other

100% agreed.

Change the buff to this:

Fire Walker: Player takes no damage while running in lava. While in lava the player moves at 33% speed.

Now the buff does not screw up fights but allows players to move through their keep quickly helping them defend it.

Yes, those improvements are really unnecessary. The point should be to weaken the defenses of the keep defenders, not to empower attackers more.
Statboosts are boring. The passiv shrine keep defenses are great, shrine buffs are not.

Pls, take a look at Aions Artefacts.
You can flip them every few seconds if you want to but they have activ casts with a cooldown which can be interupted to trigger a short time effect like a single hit against every enemy in a corner of the map, a onetime shield for allies that will absorb like 5k damage and ends after ~1 minute, a 10s dot against enemies. Those things are strong enough to fight over but can be ignored if you want to tank the short effect.
Keeps have stat increasing artefacts but they do have a cooldown and are timelimited.

I agree that 10% incoming and outgoing damage is too high. It’s nice to have buffs, though, and makes the shrines have strategic value. Otherwise it would be very stale. Especially considering that they nerfed camps and got rid of BL. BTW, I really liked the bloodlust buff. It makes a huge difference to an uder-populated server as far as ppt, and again, adds strategy. It forces you to make a choices rather than assault keep endlessly. It also encourages the small havoc teams and roamers to go after those, which can help to reduce zerging. Again, 10% is too much.

Blackgate Native. It takes tremendous strength and skill to pull a lever.

yeah agreed. the buffs are a bad idea. i can see the outmanning zerg dominating the entire map with these buffs and the underdog having 0 chance to recover or even ninja things.
