I apologize in advance if this question has been covered before, but I didn’t pre-order before the last stress test so I’m not sure.

Will I automatically be eligible to participate in the upcoming stress test? If so where should I go to download it? Or is it like beta events where it happens on live?

They mentioned that it was invite only again and to check you e-mail for and invite, however when they will be sending or if they have sent the invites is unclear. They could send an e-mail to all preorders but it is unlikely.

It’d be pretty cool if we were allowed in. No need for a “gift for testing” a lot of people just want to test the new WvW map.

Looks like I miss out on fun because I don’t need to subscribe to the newsletter because I actually just play the game and the exact same information is presented there. And then I watch Points of Interest. And then I see the same info again in my Facebook feed.

Why do you even have an E-mail newsletter?

No. Not even buying Ultimate gives you a spot. I know. It is the only part of HOT I want to try and although I bought the Ultimate, I have yet to get an invite to anything.

pre-purchase doesn’t matter. I got an invite on two of my accounts, one pre-purchased, the other one doesn’t and most likely won;t

I didn’t prepurchase yet because I want to see how WvW pans out (and only just recently was a Oct 23 launch date announced) and I was surprised to find an old 2nd closed beta WvW invite from July and a new one for this stress test as well.

I did sign up for the newsletter a while back (I don’t remember when).

I am not sure if it is related the sheer number of hours I play WvW vs other game types. It may just be whether you signed up for the newsletter.
