First of all I would like to thank A-net for inviting me to last week’s beta-stress test on desert borderlands. After being idle from the official gw2 forums for more than 2 years I want to give my personal feedback on the desert borderlands.

Here is my feedback
Bug/s
• The lord champion in SW tower of Red Bl’s was teleporting across the lord’s room whilst we were fighting him. We had around 5-6 people inside the lords room at the time of incident.

IMO things that need slight changes
• Fire and air keeps are too big and it is hard to distinguish between inner and outer walls. I believe adding different texture/colour to inner and outer walls will make things a lot easier to distinguish between them.
• Finding supply depots in all three keeps is very hard to locate. Adding mini-icon on the mini-map will do the trick I believe.
• The walls are too vertical and high. Omega golems cannot clear the siege on the walls. Two enemy players managed to prevent a zerg from capping a tower for more than 30 mins.
• The fire keep lord is too strong, I believe a reasonable nerf is required.
• The knockbacks on air keep is ridiculous.
• Fortified walls can look better by adding sharp wire like figures and/or statues. Well that is not a major concern but I will look cooler.

Overall – Negatives
• the map looks too big and complicated.
• The map is too vertical
• It is more eotm map than wvw.
• Too much pve
• A lot of mobs and few places for open field fights.

Expectations/Wants
• Similar to eb where no server gets spawn/citadel advanatage.
• Less pve and more pvp/wvw.
• Three different maps not same.
