Guild Wars 2

Each time I download the file and try to open it, it does nothing. When I go to my download files my virus scanner pops up and says the file is corrupt and had to be removed. I don’t want to turn of the scanner. Its a good one and I’m sure it blocks it for a reason.

edit the name of the file, add:

.exe

at the end.

it should look like this only while editing:

Gw2FeaturePublicTestTiny.exe

once u confirmed the new name (by pressing enter or by clicking somewhere outside

the name editing box), the just added .exe part should disappear

and the “white paper” icon of the file will turn into the “dragon 2” of gw2 and it will

work.

if u still got issues after uve done the name editing,

disable ur antivirus temporarily and try again opening the file.
