Will there be API for Guilds?
Yeah Anet thank you sooo much!!!
That’s a point i’m interested in too. I’ve implemented for our guild a website, which has a lot of organisation tools. Atm, we have to do all tasks twice. For example we have to kick someone at the website and afterwards in the game or vice versa. It would be cool to get access to the game, to our guild, via our website.
This should be very save, for example via access tokens or something like that.

Leaderboards API + Guilds API will be great! =D
I just wanted to write about such request. Features (if these are posible) I would really like to see for each guild member are:
- last time online (I requested this months ago, still nothing) – top priority!
- the amount of influence member earned for guild (to track member activity)
- member since
- percentage of time member representing the guild (to see if member is truly loyal to guild…)
These are just few that come to mind. This information would really help manage larger guilds.

These are nice ideas! A dream for guild leaders and statistic freaks, like me!

The returned match details (https://api.guildwars2.com/v1/wvw/match_details.json?match_id=1-1) do not contain the clear guild names. Is there a way to get the name?

At the moment there is no way to get the guild names. They try to provide a guild api in the next version.

With the Guild API I suggest a OpenID Provider.
The Guild Wars 2 authentication system is using OAuth, so that’s very likely how it’s going to be done. And that’s a good thing.
