Guild Wars 2

Attuned [ATT] is a guild that formed out of the NA first TT Wurm kill. We led the world first Breach and Vinewrath successes, and hold the record for the fastest Shadow Behemoth kill. We’ve now added another achievement to our record.

Tonight, we killed the Claw of Jormag in 2 burns – one for phase one, one for phase two. Overall time – 5 mins, 50 secs (according to the event timer).

Out of curiosity, is your SB kill before or after the changes to the fight? Fastest kill I’m aware of was before the changes when TTS invaded weeniedale after getting bored of killing teq for the nth time one day xD Died in about 24 seconds or so. Sadly had no screens or video of it, didnt realize just how fast it’d die.

Our record was on the current iteration of SB. We only compare to current content, exactly because changes to the fight make it impossible to equate them.

All elementalists should have been up front prior to Jormag landing (anyone that can range attack the wall can probably hit harder than those guns). Stack might and begin with Meteor Shower, finishing the cast as Jormag lands and the wall is formed. Negate the first fear, Frost Bow AoE, then proceed with normal fire staff attacks, or if locked, chain lighting, which will hit the wall twice. You can use healing rain to setup a cleanse for the fear, if nothing else is available. The fiery greatsword can be used to triple hit Jormag, which if I remember correctly, was around 20k in total per attack, though I’ve never bothered to check which is higher (vs staff). During phase 2, conditions are king until the ice is down and it only takes a small group to deal with the icicles.

Just saying, the video doesn’t really show anything special other than a non-AFK zerg and it looks like it’s your first time standing in the middle. You could probably easily shave off another minute by optimizing or even more if you can trigger its phase 2 vulnerable stage immediately after it lands.

mmm, yay? Is this supposed to be something worth celebrating? It just sounds like an egoist post to me to recruit new players.

It’s more that we set a goal for ourselves and we achieved it as a guild and we thought we’d share. We were pretty excited when we managed to do it after several attempts over several weeks. But we are happy to take on new members if people interested :>
