A simple Test.
I must say I liked the article. Maybe in time we’ll be able to isolate these Content Locusts as they seem to appear in every MMO I’v played.
I don’t understand whats FUN in their way of doing things… I mean we all love to level fast, we all love to have the best gear, we all love to have a lot of money, but we don’t rush. Atleast I dont…
Just think of every time you used cheats in a single player game, it gets boring in a matter of hours. I think the way they do stuff can be compared to cheating cause they just get bored too fast forcing the community to suffer with them because of their impact on the game economy and the general community idea of progress.
I think we just have to stop being sheep’s because the sheep mentality of comparing us “normal players” to them “Content Locusts” makes us act just like them….

That being said i forgot at add i want to know your stance on the current patch to see if i can figure out if its a player type that supports it or rejects it. Ill edit that in now.

I won’t answer to the Patch question at the moment. I’l check it out see how it works, play a bit and then I’l be ready to give you a full answer.
