Guild Wars 2

Good Day everyone,

I’d like to present to you a short film in which we present our plea to ArenaNet to help machinimators by allowing the use of a First Person camera so we can record proper cameras.

We at Cinimart have been wanting to make a machinima called Adventure Anyone within Guild Wars 2, and so we made this video during the beta to ask.

…. Unfortunately, a couple of characters got bored and so decided to go do their own stuff while we were filming.

I really hope they add this, too. For videos and screenshots. If I want to take an awesome underwater shot, my character’s head is usually in the way or in the shot. If I want to take an awesome shot of a dynamic event and not look tacky with my character front and center, I have to risk life and limb (literally) and /sleep and zoom and all that.

They’ve kind of been following the “our fans are our advertisements” method (I think they’ve even said that), but it makes it hard for us to take epic screenshots to convince people to play!!
