Ode to Nightmare

Tower strong tower high looms over the mountain
Shadows long darkened night the nightmare lives and beckons
Twisted vines intertwined greet Ye at the door
Step inside for breath and life are granted yours no more.

Heroes sung and wars begun the clash of root and steel
Hear the tongues of those we love proclaim the throne and kneel
Dark is the dream the shrieks and the screams of those who are in service
Come now flee! Lest hasten He awaken from his solace.

Pestilence plague sickness and age wrought death across the land
Vengeance made sorrows fade soaked in blood of men
We bow to none we rise as one heed the warhorns cry
The battle is won the fight is done for those who came to die.

Be at peace traveller friend an account I give to you
Carry the song let it ring through the halls of a people born anew
This I ask and this I must should peace ever be forgotten
For the nightmare is and always will be the realms only begotten.
