Since I am stuck not playing gw2 because my computer said nope, am here to spam you people with my art and awkward looking anatomy.

Her name is Su Rise and she is a Druid. Su is a whisper agent that is currently infiltrated in The Vigil.

My computer broke again so I drew Su instead. Too bad I cannot colour it right now.

Su is sooo adorable! I love the owl and their matching flower crowns! Can’t wait to see it coloured.

Hopefully 14 days in the future I will still remember how. Computer was sent away this morning.)))

I was so caught up in real life that I have only watched the showcase today. Thank you so so much for presenting my lady. It has made my evening. And my week. Probably my whole month. Actually quite sure of the whole month thing.

So. If Su learned anything while being a spy in the vigil, is that things will more often look hopeless than not, and maybe they even are, but that it is better to stick around for an answer than spend your life guessing.

From the “spam of the day” and also the “Ravel talking to herself” category, this time also an older work but of Selleha, my ele and my main, him too in casual attire.
Why not be both lethal and completely adorable!? He is my tiny squishy ball of danger.

Certanly did help, though some details remained a complete mistery to me due to the darker face colours.

Not sure what details you mean. I especially like what you did with the hair. Here’s a couple pictures of him in different lighting. I’m not trying to force you to do another drawing but, if you’re still bored, feel free to use him.

Actually I would not mind to do another. I work the next 3 days but the following two I am free and may try my hand at him again.

Tried to colour your ball of fluff several times but I messed it up. Will colour this at some point, for now have an angry shade!

Sorry, I was busy last few days….and internet issues. This charr is my main character. Some of my characters have my choice of personality but this one I accept the storys’ choice of action and behavior. Though trouble may follow him, he overcomes it with charm. As such, when communicating with npcs, I choose the “charm” responses. His father was a sorcerous shaman. He is a necromancer in the Blood Legion. Later he joined the Vigil. I think you know the story from there. When I was creating him, as he was a necromancer, I started with a black base for his coat and worked from there. I didn’t realize he looked tiger-like until my friend said so.

Ravel — I love the dreamlike quality of your work! It’s very flowing and organic. Keep up the fantastic art!

I think it’s very nice. Thank you for all the effort you’ve put in. Just don’t give any pictures you draw of him to creepy ministers trying to overthrow the queen. I don’t want to find a picture of him where it does not belong. ;-)

Are you saying that giving this picture to that nice minister, that really really wanted it, was a bad move?!

All this commander talk and I had to sketch mine. I will have to finish this when I am less swamped!! Dx Like, in 15 years.

At only 1.62 cm many things are taller and bigger than Selleha, but that also applies to his impact on people.
For some reason he is a hard face to forget.
Selleha finds himself to be a very selfish man because, as he claims, “Going out of your way to save people is in itself a selfish act.”

I was not supposed to be drawing. At all. At any point. I will be in so much trouble. o-o

Kralkatorrik on a cracker, you are talented! All your drawings look so elegant and effortless. I can tell you’re gonna go really far. Man, I wish I could draw like that, I’ve been an on-again off-again drawer my whole life, so I have had a very wibbly wobbly learning curve to say the least :p If you don’t mind my asking, how did you learn to draw? Did you take classes, read books, observe the world, follow reference pictures, etc? Also, do you have any tips for someone looking to get back into drawing? (a purely hypothetical someone, OF COURSE :p)

Not sure my approach in art is an example that is good to follow because I am a mere hobbist.

I am wobbly myself. And very very guilty of not using references for anything, hence all the random mistakes and off textures. Not to mention that I use a peculiar art program and only two brushes. Bad example.

If there is anything I do that I don’t notice often in others is that I do not treat art as a chore ,or work. I never force myself to sit down and draw just for the sake of drawing.

Not sure if this helped any, but when you sit down to draw next time do not think about what you want to show to the world, but to yourself.

That’s a really enlightening way of looking at things actually often when i draw i look from a reference and try so hard to copy it exactly, but of course that’s really difficult and frustrating and with all the effort and precise angles you try to get down, you lose the spirit of the subject and the drawing looks very rigid and tortured. I’ve always wanted to be able to draw in a way that looks lively and spontaneous, like artists like yourself. I’m gonna to try and draw more from memory, or at least not enslaving myself to a ref picture :p I gotta tell you that 2nd to last sentence is really sticking with me, that’s probably gonna get stuck in my head xD Thanks for the advice, I hope to see more of your art stuff things in future <3
