IN REGARDS TO THE “OFFICIAL VIDEO” EARLIER POSTED ON GW2 FACEBOOK: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4R5Q0ZOTa8 Come on now ArenaNet…………this is an embarrassment to your game. How can the imaginative minds that created one of the best and most creative games in ages then turn around and come out with this as a testimony of how you your want your game to be portrayed. I could have done it 10x better myself as I’m sure you could have as well. This is your shining moment guys and if you do a bad job at marketing your game (such as portraying it as some calling to a higher purpose that feels like a bad youtube ad.) then your going to going to see much less revenue and attention than if you were to just stick to what this game is fundamentally about. Being an amazing kickkitten escape to a world of nonstop entertainment and adventure full of lore and rich story…it was clear how passionate you guys were about creating the game. It’d be nice to see that you want others to truly see the masterpiece you have all had a part in creating, which will not be portrayed if THIS is your official video. I don’t mean any of this to insult or hurt, I am a huge fan and have been involved since early beta’s. I say this to help your business, public image, and revenue. I want to see this game go places few MMO’s do and I feel like this constructive criticism will help.
