Should add strife solo lupi kill.

Unfortunately, it’s out-dated. I was thinking it would be the best to try keep videos as relevant as possible.

Ah it was before the good ole dodge trait nerfs. I got so close on the ele ever since i learned of the evasive arcana and now ifs all useless. Havent had time to go back again and try my new ideas.

Bump with my Warrior AC Story, CM Story and CM P3 videos, Guardian Sanderinoa Lupicus kill and some Warrior Meat Chop boss solos.

Thank you op. Maybe now it will be seen that other professions can solo content with the right build and skill.

Added my SE Story solo. Removed all AC-exp videos. Added some after-patch AC stuff.

Added my Warrior CoF Story solo (music still processing so wait few hours if you want music). I guess TA has to be next even though I don’t really like it.
Added Guardian pdfrod’s Spider Queen Solo (AC exp).

SE p3 guard solo (I cheesed Volkov because i didn’t want to wait 10-15 minutes for the npc to kill the first trash mob plus i don’t have a set with soldiers runes, rest is melee)

Will upload a real time destroyer if anyone wants, it took about 20 minutes with guard because theres nothing to reflect for damage.

Any chance to do Volkov legit too? Anyways, I added it as a partial solo.

Se Path 1 guard solo

This was my first try so some parts are a little sketchy, i don’t know all the safe spots on the bridge but figured out a different way to do it towards the end. The fact that you solo’d the third golem and tazza okittenerker war is amazing, took me until 25% health to figure the golem out and i still can’t find a pattern in tazza, seems like the push/gs toss skills are completely random.

I spazzed and clicked the record button and turned off a little of it but got it back on for the end.

I’ll get on recording a Thief Subject Alpha solo, I was intending to for a while anyways. Any requests for a specific version of the possible three? Think I’ll tackle the Spider Queen, too.

It really helped when Tazza occasionally stopped doing attacking (annoying but not much I could do about it). Basically it was just about dodging everything (as usually).
Golems weren’t too tough. Well telegraphed attacks.

Also a technical question – if your party members do not interfere and wait outside the room, chatting etc. just so that they get the token reward upon the boss’ death, does it still count? I know all the logical stuff like recording going in to the room on your own and the boss appearing when you get there yourself etc.

How to do the running part?

Didn’t realize a thread like this existed, good idea.

I’ll have to edit all the footage still and smash it together, soloed the harpy fractal about a month ago and never did anything with the uncompressed video. Will try and get that put together when I have some spare time.

Might do a continuous, less-mistake-filled run someday, when I’m up to it.

Same thing with CoE need at least 1 other guy to do the lazers with you. And even then, that guy has to be super in synch with you to pull it off… For things like that I wish I had 2 pcs and 2 accounts so I wouldn’t need to rely on someone else, effectively stopping them from doing anything that day. And all that effort just so I can try and solo something.

If the lazer room could be skipped then anyone could potentially solo path 1 or 2 (3 has the 3 lazer cannons too…-_-)

I wanted people to see how I did it (and all my screwups along the way), but yeah, it’s way too long. >< I’ll edit it later today or tomorrow.

the problem with fractals is that they were put together so fast that they still have problems that are out of the users control, mostly the bosses reset in weird ways.

ex: the final boss of the underwater fractal resets if it eats you making this fight such a rage quit fight.

If Wethospu says he’ll add them i’ll take the time to make some new vids of the ascalon/harpy fractals plus i’ll do the snow, underwater and maybe grawl, grawl would depend on if i could do it with ranger because i couldn’t do it with guard or war.

Yeah, fractals are fine. I was thinking about having different categories for levels 1-9, 10-19, 20-29 and so on (doing lvl 1 or lvl 9 puts you in same bracket). Bit busy so I will take a look at them tomorrow.

I think its kind of dumb that this was moved into this thread, it obviously has everything to do with dungeons. Strife’s/DNT’s Dungeon video guides are sticky’d in the dungeon section, this is no different than those just solo video’s.

I don’t think its a big secret that your (anet) strongly against anything in the game being solo’d but please stop trying to hide it from the public until your next anti solo update comes out.

Hotw p1 Guard solo

This took me almost 2 hours! so the middle of the last 2 boss fights were taken out to numb the bordum.

One thing i have to say is that Wethospu you are an amazing player, i consider myself far better than 99 percent of people who play this game and your about 10 levels above me. I try and do the things you do but with a guard and prot and still can’t do them, granted some of the solo vids you have done were before the food proc nerf but it doesn’t take away from the fact that you can dodge every attack from every boss over and over.

I don’t think people realize how good you actually are at this. They all need to try some of these solo’s and see.

Doing your first (or few) solo is probably the hardest. Sure, dungeons have some differences but mechanics don’t drastically change. But I guess I will eventually have to rerun all paths (revamps, nerfs, etc.).

And yeah, hopefully this topic now doesn’t completely die when it finally picked up some attention.

CM Path 3 Guardian Solo

My first solo ever, and I thought it went pretty well, considering the sub-optimal gear, traits, and mistakes that I made. The only thing I really feared was the Bandit Cutpurses, since getting smacked with 12 stacks of bleed and poison can ruin your day fast. In hindsight, a few trait choices could have sped up the run considerably, and I could have gone full zerker’s and gotten away with it (most of the time :P ).

I wasn’t going to even try this, didn’t think i could do it but i saw a post in the dungeons section where some kid was crying that it was to hard in a group of 5. Hope he thinks otherwise now.

Definitely. Regardless of class, solo dungeons are hard. It’s awesome to see people doing these, thanks for putting up videos!
