Voted for “yes, it’s awesome”. Even if nothing changed about WvW from here on out I would still play it several times a week.

After doing looooads of PvE content, i’m finding WvW really fun as end game content, especially compared to standard PvP. Deffo needs to be sorted out though, way too many problems.

Its getting stale for me. To much aoe damage with all the culling is like waking in the middle of time square at rush hour , everyone stacking because of aoe heals and dps. No collision detection and high aoe dps is making it old quick.

True… it’s WORSE. I stopped playing last patch when they went back to the old “broken culling” fix. TONS of LAG and Culling, impossible to play, much less enjoy it. If they come out with some lame kitten patch in March I doubt I’ll be playing much, if at all.

Problem … why have something about WvW In a place only thouse who just started WvW or just love the heck out of WvW Or such would find it?

I have a feeling I would still love WvW if I was playing in a different tier. I find the tactics of Tier 1 to be very dull, trebs, trebs, trebs, and the occasional 20 golem rush. I miss the days of rams on gates and open field fights.

do not feel the game “is really awesome” and i am not “getting bored” either.

The game is worth playing.
The WvW system currently is extremely flawed.

At the same time it is very much above and beyond what the game’s competitors have to offer so i will play it as long as this remains the case.

This poll is not only on this forum but really nice analogy, looks like > 20% of customer in your butcher dont buy meat anymore.

Well it’s the only fun thing to do in GW2 so yes I do, and I still enjoy it. I would very much like to see some updates, changes, and/or additional wvw content still though.

pve feels like slave labour, zero fun, just hardship and suffering (for what ?? pixel reward? i simply don’t get it),
w3 feels like the sport of kings, thrill, exitement, fun.

pve is like mowing the lawn,
w3 is like playing soccer in the world championship.

Yes. But starting to get bored as well. playstyle goes like this:

1. Join a zerg ball by following a Blue Dorito on the map.
2. Then, Hope you got enough numbers.
3. Stack, do combo fields then pew pew
4. Hope you don’t die.
5. Rinse and repeat.

Tried roaming around with small groups on classes other than the thief. Doesnt work. People most of the time run away from you. A few minutes after, you get facepalmed by an invisible zerg out of nowhere. Spec ops gameplay is better left to thieves imo. No choice but to run with the zerg or turn your small group into a zerg ball, or better yet get a blue dorito as well then zerg to win around the map. Overwhelming Zerg=ONLY solution to every objective.

So yeah, that’s why im bored.

I still like WvW in GW2…only part i play in this game……fun with my guild and just kitten where we can:)

The lack of reward for the losers is the single biggest problem of wvw. Just look at how many ppl have quitted wvw.

Where’s the option: I log in and enter wvw as it’s a good place to complete my daily before I log out again?

Got bored with it- it’s interesting to note that there is much more excitement and fun to be had when guilds are organising their own gvg battles rather than actually doing wvw these days.

Maybe devs will wake up and smell the flowers and make a 20v20 gvg maps with tables , interserver, and we could have some real gvg going on. Get the new content guys working on it!

Nope, waiting for the March update.

If that sucks – and it likely will – I will probably uninstall the game from my computer so as not to be tempted to give it a 2nd chance. This update will also seriously influence whether or not I purchase the expansion likely coming sometime later this year.

^Carbon copy of my WvW experience. Following a zerg is fun once in a while, but it gets boring with aoe spam and chasing the same objective over and over. If you want to roam, you rarely find a good skirmish with other roamers, and likely run into 20 man camp flippers instead… which is “roaming” group to a high pop server. I log out at once when my fps drops to a nearby zerg – you could almost hear the train of pain approaching when that happens :p

I’m hoping the march update will freshen things up, but currently wvw is getting stale.
