Guild Wars 2

Hello Everyone! Some of you may have already seen the webcomic I started over on Guild Wars 2 Guru called Dynamic Events. I’m going to be posting updates here as well. The comic started two years ago so there are a good number of them if you’d like to read through all of them all in one sitting.

Russian Translations
I switched to B&W this year so I could get them out more easily and a cool GW2 fan in Russia named Roman147 began coloring them while an equally cool GW2 fan named Deadkid translated them into Russian! (Spaceeba to Roman147 and Deadkid!)

This isn’t a new comic update but I’m hoping to start doing more of comics soon. Rather this is a design for a card I’m planning on printing and sending to ArenaNet to say thanks for making what is proving to be a really great game. I thought I’d post it here first

@Krusteomel – There will hopefully be a new comic soon. It’s just hard to keep from hitting that GW2 icon rather than drawing whenever I sit down in front of my PC

Hi everyone! I finally managed to pull myself away from playing to get another comic done

I have some plans to change my style/method of doing comic so I can get them done while still playing the game but I’ll get more into that later.

I have to sleep, but after reading the first one, you win. I will be back to enjoy more! My only suggestion is making the woman have smoother lines so she looks less… manly. (Not that I could do better myself.) xD

I’m afraid you’re seeing the limit of my artistic ability when under the deadline of trying to do a regular comic. I am experimenting with a new style. Hopefully it will make the female characters look less manly

And here’s a test sample of the new style I want to use. It’s a freakish combination of 3D models, vector outlines and digital hand-drawing. But I believe it will be quicker and more flexible, allowing me to tell more of the stories that I’d like to tell.

It’s not a comic but this new art piece does have Dynamic Events characters in it

I promised to do this pic while back for Aaron Forestman in GW1 (aka Aaron Demonsniper) who was kind enough to help me get a good chunk of HoM points. I plan on coloring the pic and I’ll post that here as well.

GW2 has done its best to eat up all my free time but I think I can make some time for creative stuff again. So here is something a little different from my Dynamic Events webcomic but using the characters from it. (If the character’s don’t make sense, links to the webcomic and my DA page are in the OP above )

This idea will be one-shot jokes based on the gameplay experiences of GW2. This is just the intro, I’ll show what I mean in the next ones.

Trivia question to everyone here, who knows the reference for the title of the podcast?

I know the Mastercard commercial reference is off, but it’s Toll’s podcast and he doesn’t know any better

I got a chuckle when I saw this reward in the current chapter of Flame and Frost. Personally, I’m actually keeping it. (At least until I decide which cultural armor I want.)

If anyone has any other ideas of weird/funny things they’ve experienced in GW2, feel free to send a PM! (Ideas that account for a limited time to do the artwork without Braveheart-style WvW battlescenes are preferable )

Whoa, I just noticed that several people had posted on this old thread! Thank you very much RoyHarmon, auratus and MaesterTed for the comments!

I really want to do more comics but there’s this horrible thing called Guild Wars 2 that keep eating up my spare time :qq: I want to make a conclusion to Theo and gang’s story rather than leaving it hanging, but I might need to combine it with text as well as images rather than the comic format.

I do have some other ideas for “Spawn the Dragon” though that I’d like to do

Except I have to work on my Clockwork Chaos achievements. And then my Dailies. And maybe a little WvW. Or alt-leveling. Ahhh!

So come on, we cant wait to see and have more!
