[Fan-Music] Do you hear the Sylvari sing?
Thanks for posting this. Meant to but never got round to it :P
Also to note that Eexa’s version is outdated. beardedheathen made a couple of suggestions to the first one which I’ve added.
Come, rise up, Sylvari sing!
Shout up against the Dragon’s might!
This is the music of our people
We won’t fall without a fight!
Though the Dream begins to die
And the Nightmare twists its lies
We will stand now by your side
‘Gainst the Mordrem’s tide!
We will join in your crusade,
We who are strong will stand with you.
Not as monsters but as men,
We’ll fight the brothers we once knew.
Our souls are at stake
But roots of our resolve will push through!
Chorus
Will you stand strong until the end
Or fall beneath the Dragon’s trance?
There’s a world we must defend
For we are not mere pawns of chance
The blood of Maguuma
Will mark our relentless advance!
Chorus
Do you hear the Dragon’s Call?
Hear all his whispers in the night?
It’s the true purpose of our people
Who’ll no longer live in fright!
When the vines reclaim the land
And all His champions claim the skies
At last Sylvari show their hand
When the Mordrem rise!
Will you hold on to the lies?
And limits of the centaur’s tree?
Come here we will baptise
You, let the Dragon set you free!
So join us and fight
Come, watch as before us they flee!
Chorus
Joined in soul and joined in mind
As we march on with Mordrem horde
You can never cut me down
For I am shield and I am sword!
The blood of the mortals
Will water the plants of our Lord!
Chorus
It’ll also be interesting to see which version people prefer

Sharm contacted me not too long ago about singing this and she’s now released it on her channel:
this is cool.
I’m not a big sylvari player, but i like their concept and design And this text is awesome.
I’d like to try it, but I’m sick, so right now I have no voice.
but I already saved the text for when i can sing again.
you know the multilanguage version of original? never fails to make me teary. <3
