Rl concerns prevent me from playing GW2 on a regular basis anymore, so I figured I’d put up one last farewell video of the fun TW has had in WvW in over the last few months. The clips are in no particular order, and somewhat hastily edited, but it’s a good watch regardless.
We’ve had our good nights and bad etc, but regardless, the teamwork and focus have left a permanent impression on me not only as a gw2 player, but in every game I will be playing after this.
For non TW seeing this, friend and foe alike, learn what you can… leave what you don’t like, but keep showing up to the fight with your best to force people to keep striving
Hiding the utility bar so people don’t find out that shout guardians are good in WvW?
I’d tell you the real reason why, but I hear there is a certain plant in TW who has threatened to make the trees next to my house go crazy if I do, and I hate raking leaves.
On a serious note, yes shout guards are great in wvw, but depending on group comp etc there may be other very good options as well
Then why not the SoR forums or TW forums, 99% of the people here don’t really care tbh.
Mostly to share some of the experiences that I got on video with the general WvW community, who although Im sure contains many who really don’t care, also contains some who study these kinds of vids for strenths/weaknesses of certain guilds.
These are the people who do a large potion of the work, whether they are on SoR or not, to help keep the competition fresh by either helping us to reinforce our strengths or make us aware of our vulerabilities by fighting them or working with them.
Also with this video specifically, I had no good reason to link it except to show off some of the stuff we’ve done, even if the editing job isn’t pretty. There’s plenty of WvW videos that get linked on a somewhat regular basis for the same purpose so this should really come as no suprise
Farewell dear TW foe, you will be missed on the battlefields and sadly you are just one of those who are no longer in this game, leaving WvW more empty.
Greetings to TW for all those intense battles. We could not express much of this in the game; apparently there is just killing and looting — but that’s very far from what we value most: a worthy enemy, both in bravery and skills, which rewards us with fights that we remember for a long time. May you walk in sunshine. /respect
I quit yesterday. time for ESO (maybe not. maybe no games FOREVER!!!) grats.
YA ESO RvR looks bad not because of just the combat systom in ESO has no feeling of doing any thing when you attk but the base ideal of how they did RvR Weapons and the means of wps and re-spawning. GW2 WvW may not be the best but its base is a good system and it can be changed a lot more with out braking thing.
