11 years ago I rode my bike to the store and picked up a copy of Guild Wars: Prophecies. I was 16 at the time and it was one of my first MMO’s ever. I remember how easy it was for me to fall in love with this game, as I did this first starter area over and over. I wanted to share those feelings with the rest of you who may have also been my age at the time. I kept this video very short but if you all like it and want more please just let me know. I will record more of the epic parts that made me love this game. Enjoy!

I realised fairly early that GW: Prophecies had it’s limitations. Previously I had averaged less than 3 months playing any game, then this one. It certainly wasn’t the game as such but the people you met playing it that made it great – which includes someone with a frog in tow.

There were bits of the game that could have been better, but it still has something and every so often calls me back for ‘just one more go’.

I also repeatedly did the starter area, and ended up doing many runs with Arya The Pre Farmer. I ended up with no less than 3 accounts, each had pre-searing farmers on them. There were also specific slots for carrying stuff to post searing.

Yep, I’m called Serious for a reason. Better stop now before this becomes a novel and everyone ends up asleep…
