I have recently uploaded Guild Wars 2 – The Complete Season 1 Movie on Youtube!

A full complete Movie with all cutscenes and story lore of Season 1 for all who have missed it or wish to revisit the story before continuing the game with Season 2 in mind.
There are NO spoilers for Season 2 and beyond with this Movie.

The Game’s storyline plays in this order:

Personal Story -> Season 1 -> Season 2 -> Heart of Thorns -> Season 3

For best experience be sure to complete your Personal Story and Watch this Movie before playing Season 2 Story!

S2 sets up HoT. In fact HoT takes place immediately after the final scene in S2, so it is well worth playing. There are some hit and miss elements to S2 as the writers change direction and start going in a better direction from S1 and the God awful personal story, but when it is good, it’s some of the best they have done (chapter 5 is outstanding for eg)

I haven’t watched the OP (too long for me), but kudos for going to the effort

This is great. Even though I played season 1 myself, I know plenty of people who were never able to. They will be very interested in this. Thanks for making this

There was a minor editing error that occurred where a text showed up at the wrong time.

I’m working on correcting this minor error by removing the text that appeared at the wrong time and when it’s finished I will re-upload the video again. However, I will keep this video up until the fix is ready and when it is I will update this thread with the new video link so if you want to revisit the video at anytime stay tuned on this thread for the new Link. Don’t worry it will be the same video after the fix.

Wow! That’s a lot of people!
I guess I won’t be able to update it again and add one more clip… lol
Oh well… I’m glad people enjoy it the way it is so I won’t mess with it anymore…

i should make an Outstanding In Fields of Bacon Award for such dedication. Of course, the bacon would be shared among all the participants, and there would be plenty of bacon for everyone involved. unless of course there are some that don’t like bacon. then there’d also be strawberry rhubarb pie. on second thought, there’d be strawberry rhubarb pie as well, even if everybody does like bacon.

Thanks! Unfortunantly I had some issues with video staying up but I just updated and uploaded the final edition which is 3hours and 19min long and adds a bunch of missing scenes! It is finally complete so enjoy!

As folks are starting to think more and more about Expansion Pack 2, it seems a good time to remind them about this fine movie, which encapsulates all of Season 1 very well indeed.

How about instead of encouraging players to watch a video on LS1, you encourage the developers to reactivate the LS1 runthrough
