NEW POLICY! If you “claim” a slot for commission but don’t respond with references or info for me to start within 3 days you therefore FORFEIT your slot! I can’t wait days with no reference to even start a rough sketch while I have other people waiting.

I am a professional artist and I only offer in-game gold commissions because I know fair and well that GW is copyrighted and I’m not allowed to ask for real money for anything related to GW. But anything else non-GW related or non-copyrighted I CAN ask for money since art is my living.

Gold Pricing (prices set PER character, excluding the 200g one):
1g ~ Sketch (basic lines, no shading, characher bust, 1 color)
7g ~ Shaded Sketch (shading, can be full body if stated, 1 color)
10g ~ Ink (no background)
30g ~ Ink (with background/environment)
50g ~ Full color comic style (about 5-7 hours of work)
100g ~ Full color painted style (longest wait time: roughly 10+ hours of work)
200g~ Reserved for custom requests. (ex Full color full bg with multi-figures, either comic or painted)

How to Order a Commission from Me:

~PM me (don’t in-game chat! It’s really hard to get refs and send you process images)with the art type you want (from above), screenshots (front, side, and back in the character screen works best since it has even lighting and I can get the correct colors), and what weapon does your character use if you want it in the pic.

~In the PM explain in detail want you want to see: background, your character posed. If you don’t have a set idea we’re work it out.

~SEND the 1st HALF of the payment once I’ve given you rough sketch (In the past I’ve had too many people that said they wanted an art piece and then I work halfway and never hear from them again and thus wasting MY time and effort for nothing.

*Once you’re set, (and I have the gold) I’ll send you a rough sketch to make sure you like it before going into details.

*If there’s nothing to fix or edit I’ll continue onto the finalized sketch (inks, colors, whatever you order).

*I’ll constantly update you with the art process until it’s done. Once you have seen the final color low rez and think it’s completed, send the remaining payment and I’ll send you the high rez (300dip) either PM or email, whatever is your preference.

NOTE: if you aren’t active on the forums or in-game, please give me a contact that IS active so I can get a quicker answer from you if I have questions or if I want to send you updates of the process and to give you the final piece when it is ready

As of today (May 14th) I am closed to commissions. Anyone else interested in a commission will be placed on a waitlist and as soon as I’m done with the 3 that I have now, then I’ll reopen to commission from the waitlist before taking any others.

Depending if I have other things going on… about 2-3 weeks. Most of that time is getting references and sketching, or editing the sketch if the client isn’t 100% happy with something. Actual coloring time (once the sketch is done and the client has given me color info), roughly 1 week depending on the level of detailing in either the character or background.

In hours (if I was a robot and didn’t take breaks or sleep or I had no other projects I needed to finish) it’s roughly 10-17 hours.

However, I’m currently full for commissions and I’m going to guess that it’ll be roughly a month before I reopen. I have a waitlist going though, if you want to wait until I’m done with my current commissions. I’m also trying to get ready to sell some prints of my original work for a convention, so yea… I’m pretty booked at the moment.

I came to this thread because I follow you on dA. I was curious if your gold comissions apply only to GW2 content, or if I can pay gold for different art as well.

Only GW2 content for gold commissions (or gw1). My reason is that since GW is copyrighted, I can’t actually make real money for making character art for players, so that’s why I’m using in-game money for character art.

Any other commission content unrelated to GW must be Paypal payment.

I’ve now payed you in-game as well, as well with a tip for making me laugh (I’m sorry but the young face together with everything looked quite funny xD)
Though I actually have a question and a request, if you could perhaps just alter the face to make him look older, because he is suppose to be a pretty old battle worn man (Maybe the age 60-70) and perhaps put in the complexion/scar/burn on his right eye?
Now you certainly don’t have to if you don’t want too, and I can pay you a little extra if needed, but I felt it would be fun to see and more fitting the character I’ve imagined him to be

I know I stated this at the top of the thread, but just as a reminder I’m no taking any more commissions currently, but I am holding a waitlist when I open again. Just PM me if you wish to go on the waitlist for a commission (don’t pay yet if on waitlist).

Also, for all those commissions with standing, I’m still working on them. I’m trying my best to finish then before Friday since I have other matters to attend to the following two weeks after this Friday ( June 8th) and will not be able to work on anything during that time.

about 3 or 4. 2 of them are colors and the rest are sketches I think. I’ll have to look back through my messages to be sure. I’m going through them one at a time in order of those who connected me to be added to the waitlist. If you want, you can get added to the end of the list. So.. yea.. Not that many of my waitlisters are checking their mail or something cause only one contacted back.. So I guess I’ll open to 3 slots. Please, don’t whisper in-game, it’s really hard to keep the chat organized and the lack of copy/paste is really tough when it comes to need to send ref links or updates on the process. in-game mail is ok, but please don’t spam my in box in-game with the limit of only 10 it really stinks, so that’s why I prefer fourm PMs. You can always email me too (address is at the top post).

Sorry, but I’m a bit confused. I don’t do “requests,” to me a request sounds like I’m doing something for free when I’m not. If you want a commissions, please PM me with the details like, which commission do you want (see price list) and the other info you had in your message (ref and pose ideas).

either 1-2g an hour (haven’t quite decided yet, maybe even settle 1.5g an hour), so it depends on how detail it is and if there’s a background. no background, roughly 5 hours. with background roughly 10 hours.

I’m still working on my last commission, but if you want to PM to hop on the waitlist, you may at this point. Again, only taking 3.

Just a head’s up. I will be opening up for new commissions this weekend, but if you want to get on the waitlist now, there’s 2 more slots.

btw, waitlist BECOMES the open list, so once the slots fill I’ll close again until I finish the new list.
