Ahh, that really lets me think back, why exactly I kept on suggesting the implementation of the feature for Ingame Instruments like other older Games have that Feature sicne years (LotRO, Mabinogi to name just two well known ones for that Feature)
GW2 still needs more instruments.
So much stuff missing for a complete orchestra:
- Cello
- Violin
- Guitar/Lute/Banjo
- Tambourines
- Ocarina (other Flute Types, Pan Flute, Cross Flute, Clarinette
- Trumpet/ Saxophone/ Trombone/ Tuba
- Triangle/ Chimes
- Rattles
- Xylophone
- Bagpipe/ Accordion
- Bassoon
- Cymbal
If we would put all that together with the existign instruments and weould just get enough skilled players together with all them on one spot, playing together, then we would have a Guild Wars Orchestra

Yeah, it’s actually quite difficult finding other players with musical experience and the ability to play songs with other players. So far out of hundreds of people playing instruments I have only encountered 2 that can actually keep tempo and play with others.
So here’s to hoping that Guild Wars 2 will become a game known for its talented musical playerbase.
