Guild Wars 2

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to share this idea for new Guild tab/menu since “Message of the Day” is used in alot of guilds for big messages / information and you either can’t fit everything in there or it’s annoying to spam people with it while you want to edit it. That is why I got this idea that would improve and clear up the “MotD” and so people would actually use it for what it was created, for short daily messages*. Also with this new tab/menu “Guild Information” leaders could write everything from information, rules to event schedule and much more.

My idea is not to change the current “Message of the day” which I think it’s implimented really good. I just wanna clear up MotD from having annoying large messages. “motd” also has a small box so, big text is really hard to read and scroll through.

I think the idea overall, of having a different part for actual guild information, would be phenomenal. It would certainly clean up the MotD and help keep the long general info from constantly spamming everyone as they log in or change reps. I have to swap back and forth between my personal guild back and my main, and it can take up a ton of space with the same long message again and again, so that it becomes difficult to catch chatter if it happens among all of that swapping as well.

Perhaps it doesn’t necessarily even need a tab on the main left. If the MotD section had two tabs inside of it (one for the MotD and one for the guild information), that would make it fairly intuitive and convenient.
