If Guild Wars had a movie....
It would be an adventure movie for children, animated similiar to classical pixar movies, about a Quaggan and a bunch of Skritt saving the world and having epic fights against epic villains.
I’d totally watch that. (OüO)
“cute” animated characters are pretty popular (just look at the minions) and both the skritt and the quaggan are cute in different ways, so I think it would be pretty popular even with people that don’t play the game.

^ PLEASE NO. If anything, GW would be the best setting for a film- especially pre/post-Searing Ascalon. Though the “main character (you)” may not be present, it could still use the NPC heroes of old to flesh out the story. Such characters as Mhenlo and Cynn, for example, would be excellent ones to follow. Perhaps there would also be an adventurer for whom the Flameseeker Prophecies centers around. If anything, I would hope they make a film based on Prophesies, as it had one of the more interesting plot twists.

^ Didn’t think about those guys. They’re basically Guild Wars 1’s Destiny’s Edge.
If it followed those guys I’d hope we see some of Eve the necromancer. Who, despite being on all the Prophesies cover art, we barley see.
Who knows, maybe they could drop a Pyre Feirceshot cameo to foreshadow the Eye of the North sequel too!
Hope you’re writing this down Anet!
I for one would like it if Anet talked more about the events that happened both before GW1 and in between the two games. Either way, some cool things they can do a movie on would be the rise of Ebonhawke, the Foefire, Gwen’s life story, Shiro’s life story, the Searing, the stories of Turai Ossa, Palawa Joko, Prince Rurik, and all six members of Mhenlo’s group, the Guild Wars … the list can go on for ever so I’m just going to end it here.
