For those of you just wanting to emulate tunes from the game or elsewhere, here ya go!

Why you ask? Because when you have a bit of free time one might decide to do something like this…

Besides, for those with instruments picking up dust, why not share the weatlth and music?

So…here is my first entry!

Terra, From Final Fantasy 6 (Flute Section Only)

- Played on High Octave Only on the Flute, spaces indicate two second pauses, dashes indicate half-second pauses. Assume end of each line is a space as well.

It also might be worthwhile to critique and even improve on the works, to find the best version. I won’t say my interpretion above is the best, but if it gives people something to fiddle around with, that’s all the more greater!

Need some help with this one:

Rising Sun from Final Fantasy Adventure

- Played on Flute, and starting on High Octave. Spaces and new lines indicate a few seconds delay. (9) changes the Octave, this one has a lot of notes going on, and the final line is hard with the tune shifting into the high octave at the last moment. Though I am still testing whether I can reduce the tone further but it seems there are overlapping notes in the tune. Ergo, this one is rather difficult to play!

It seems to me that it’s in the same key as the horn, so you can grab songs from that thread too. Sadness and Sorrow sounds really good on the flute, imo.

I’ve been messing around with the flute and decided to try the Titanic theme My Heart Will Go On. I don’t know if it’s been done before (for the horn maybe?) but it fits the whole flute thing going on. Plus I think it’s only a matter of time before it comes lol.

Underlined numbers are in lower octave.

Notes without spaces in between must be played fast like a trill.
Some repeated notes can be omitted due to how the flute sounds/work in this game, simply use as you see fit.

Man i would love to hear the Aerith Theme from Final Fantasy 7 played on the flute

So turns out Crossing Field, the opening to sword art online (I personally love it, others don’t but whatever) works perfectly in the flute’s key. It’s painfully hard to play since it is pretty fast paced and the delay lasts an eternity but maybe someone will find this neat.

edit: so turns out after practicing some more i’ve gotten used to the delay, It’s much faster than the video now!

Can anyone convert the tabs for “Frog’s Theme” from Chrono Trigger? I’d love to play it as inspirational music for my group!

I’ve always loved the opening theme to the original wild arms. I wish I could figure out how to play that on my lute.

Not perfect due to the Key of the song and kind of Basic bare bones (with a flourish here and there) But after 2 weeks worth of work and tinkering…
