First time looking at the night sky~ Zéath

Just one shot? I have so many! Including a series from my guild putting on the guild colors of green and purple and having a dance party on Headstart Saturday. It works better as a stop-motion fast slide show but here is one screen from the set:

EDIT: Gaile says I can do two shots, so I’ll add the other one I wanted to share from Head Start. The initial load in to game not long after the game went live, just long enough to set my creation sliders as I’d designed them in beta.

I think this sums up launch weekend

Two screenshots I created. First one is Me with two friends we posed for at the beginning of Guild Wars 2 (1325) and the second image is a comparison of how our characters have grown sometime during GW2’s third year (1328).

old screenshots? I have a lot of those, I can even dig as far back as the first prerelease Beta Weekend event. looking at them now I have way too many screenshots of way too many occasions, hard to narrow it down to 1 or 2 but I managed to decide on 2 from the first day of the 3-day-headstart (25th of August 2012):

the first one is of my first trip to the Hall of Monuments to get the stuff I earned, only a little bit disappointed that I could not open my old Xunlai-Chest to grab my Materials and such as well
the second one is from my first trip to Lions Arch, admiring the Lionstatue and the fountain around it, not knowing what the poor thing would have to go through

You can see this screenshot is OLD:
Guardian Greatsword Symbol was still on #2, and WW on #3, and Leap on #4. How sore we(guardians) were the day Arenanet swapped them around(all that muscle memory confused!). They never moved weapon skills positions again after this for 4 years, lesson learned!
One look at the WvW Interface should tell you much. Fort Aspenwood used to be the Blackgate back then…I am still on FA after 4 years.
You can also see from the MiniMap, we used to have Darker Red, Blue, Green icons back then…I never liked this change. Now they are the same color as the commander tag, and i have to look carefully on the whole map to see my commander sometimes.
Supply did not show up at the top, nor did it have any icons at all.
Tome of Courage still existed.

Second Screenshot is a week later. My first character(still active and still my main!) reached level 80, fully geared with lvl80 exotics too(ascended did not exist back then), with amazing looking skins(first 2 weeks nobody had any shinies, and AC Greatsword used to be considered one of the few shinies, nor did we have gemstore exclusive skins).
FA was still treating the other servers nicely… Oh and Orbs still existed in WvW, not this new Ruins/Monuments thing.

Well originally, Anna Hayha my main was an Engineer on August 25, 2012. It was October 6th that I was unhappy with the Engi and remade her into a Mesmer which is what she still is.

The first picture is my first shot of her on day 1. The second is what she looks like now.

From launch weekend itself, I have surprisingly few – I have about 190 from the betas and only 8 over the first week.

But here’s a scene we don’t see anymore.

And below it, my favourite comedy shot – it wasn’t just clipping problems that charr used to suffer from (or maybe the Three Legions Court bar used to be a stripper bar…)

My first picture I have is from WvW Season 1 Nov 06, 2013 and the second picture is more recent with the same awesome commander Cloud Fly JQ. I had older photos but my old computer got fried so I lost them.

My two mains. First is with the Conductosphere from pre-NPE. My first “wow, this is awesome” moment in GW2. I miss the old Metrica Province. Second is the 20th level version of my warrior, which I thought looked awesome at the time, even with the massive horn clippage.

The second two are what those two characters look like now…

Here’s a shot of some fine WvW cuisine…

Wow, doesn’t seem like 4 years has gone by. So many hours of great fun with friends. I dredged out a couple of shots with my norn ranger – my first character which I still have and play much of the time.
The first is on Aug.25, 2012 – first day of roaming (inventory full, of course, lol) and finding fantastic scenery in the Shiverpeaks. I think I spent most of the first play through ogling the sights… and of course the daily death from falling off cliffs… :P (could never resist a good cliff to jump from)
2nd screen is Aug.31, 2012 (was lvl 35 by then) – Exploring Ascalon area…. who knew we’d get to carry chickens around. I remember laughing so much about this.

Just casually mapping out an area when I saw something really big from the distance. I had no idea there were such big events such as Tequatl I was missing! (Note, if he was revamped Teq at launch……… no thanks)

Eeeeeeeeee I am pleased as punch and absolutely floored that the Jesters day one dance party shot got in the 4 years retrospective video! I shared it with all my guildies I’m still in touch with and they’re going eeeeeeeee too!
