I can’t make cosplay to save my life for a variety of reasons:
I can’t sew, I don’t have the time/energy/money/resources to create a real-life version of in-game attire (I also don’t have the body), and I don’t have anywhere safe to keep it.
So I did the next best thing. I transformed a doll into my Guild Wars 2 main character, norn ranger Kahlendra Wolfkin! Bonus: This doll is 18" tall, so she’s to scale (bigger/taller than a Barbie doll, which I made for Guild Wars 1).
I love the norn Wolfborn armor, and the first short bow I obtained in the game that I absolutely loved was Stardust, so I brought both of those to life. I also even included a pet wolf for Kahlendra’s loyal companion, Eclipse.
