Hi All,
I made a collection of all wallpapers, loading screens, concepts and some screenshots from the entire first season including all events.
Decided to have it printed and bound

That looks pretty awesome. Nice job & well presented.
Wow! That’s amazing! Well done. =)
Holy crap that’s amazing. I’d buy that if I had the money and if it were available on a store or such.
Wow, that’s cool!!! Send a copy to me with all the quest done by the PC, in a storytelling format
This is really awesome stuff. You rock!
That’s awesome :o I would like to have one :P
I hope A-Net will meet with you and making a contract for selling those awesome work in they stores and maybe we soon see some more from yours.
I’d totally pay you to make a second copy like that. Including shipping.

Same here. +1
Not sure that the printers should have allowed you to make a book of copyrighted material, especially with a bar-code on the back. But it’s pretty kitten ed cool. You should get in touch with ANet and see if they will pay you for the “editing” work so they can release the book officially
That’s awesome, Odinius. Well-done!
Wow! Very impressive! Want one of my own now.
I would love love love it!
Making one for himself is one thing, but will he be able to legally distribute it, even if its at no cost?
The only safe solution I see to this, is to include scans of the 60 pages somewhere online. Or the original screens that made your book.
But Kudos to you, that is one of the neatest things I have seen people do for themselves.
Making a book like this for yourself is legal as long as you’re not using the game’s material to make a profit for yourself. But I’m sure that if he got permission from ArenaNet and together they released this to the public, then there would be a lot of sales, especially since so much of what makes this game unique among MMOs is the Living Story and many players would love to be able to see Season 1 again. I’d buy this book for sure! Great job, Odinius! (and thank you, Point of Interest team, for showcasing this on your Twitch episode).
I found the Content Terms of Use
It sounds like he could print and sell copies of the book as long as he put the proper copyright information on there, and as long as he was only charging the buyers for the price of printing and shipping the book and nothing more.
Does that sound like a correct interpretation of the terms of use regarding a book like this?
I think these are the 2 pertinent Q&A’s from the Terms and Conditions.
Q. Can I write a story, book, poem, musical composition, etc., based on your game?

Q. May I use your art or images for items, such as clothing, toys, or other game-related goods?

Yalora pulled the right part of the Q&A–thanks Yalora.
And Odinius, thank you for sharing your beautiful work. We showed it off on last Friday’s Points of Interest show. If you missed it, keep an eye on guildwars2.com this Wednesday.
I absolutely love this! I see that sales are off the table. However, maybe you could post the primary document that you used to produce the work (if such a document exists) for us to admire
Hi guys,
Although I never asked for it to be approved (I prolly should have, sowwie) it was and still is not my intention to sell these in any form.
I just wanted all the artwork in one place that I could flick through whenever I felt like it.
I had it printed and bound by one of those photobook companies and although the quality is very good it is also quite expensive.
The 21-28cm version I have was more than € 50,- though I didn’t pay that much because I had some promotion codes for an album.
Making it smaller didn’t do the artwork any justice so that wasn’t an option either.
I’ll try to post a link to the online version the company sent me so you can flick through it yourself, but there might be some add from the printer attached.
And yes Rubi, I saw it on the POI show all thanks goes to you guys that made everything that is in there.
And I’ll have a second one printed at the end of the month and have it shipped to you guys at Arenanet!

Ps: The online version doesn’t do the album any justice as I was amazed by the look of the actual thing when it arrived.
It looks way better than the online version, but it gives you an idea of what’s in it.
