That is simply lovely! I admit to getting a tear in my eye with all the lovely shots. And the music is very nicely played in the Part 2 video. Are you also the guitarist?

Anyway, thank you for a lovely “look back.” I would love to feature this for an April show, if not this year, in the future, for April is the anniversary month of the original Guild Wars release.

Honestly, has there ever been a more beautiful area in a game than Pre-Searing Ascalon? ~sigh~

Pre Searing,

Without the destruction of Ascalon we could never have appreciated what it was.
Without appreciating it we could never have truely hated the charr for destroying it.
Without our hatred of the charr we wouldn’t have a reason to appreciate it.
Ascalon is the story of paradise caught up in the storm of jealousy and vengeance.
With the Charr victory, the Humans have come and gone.
All the while the Devourers have watched the folly unfold, just skittering for a peace of their own.

Ascalon will always belong to the Devourers.
