Hello all!

My name’s Fenix and I am one of the founders of a new YouTube channel called “PTNThePartTimeNerd.”

At PTN, we want to create dedicated tutorial and entertainment source for casual gamers. We’re here to shatter the belief that a game requires a specific build, skill set or even a cubic butt-load of time in order to enjoy. It’s a game, not a career.

To start our channel off we are mostly focusing on the PC game Guild Wars 2. We are currently expanding to other games but for now its a heavy focus on GW2. In this game my guild and I often run a variety of content with a wide assortment of players and play styles. We embrace everyone’s own way of enjoying the game but cater more toward casual gamers. We noticed a lot of players (both in our guild, and random players we ran with) would require help with certain dungeon mechanics, or would need a guide to run with them for a complex jumping puzzle, etc. So we decided to start making walkthroughs in order to help them out. From there we got positive feedback from the community saying how we should share these videos, and continue to create them.

In response to this feedback PTN was born! As I stated earlier, in order to set ourselves apart we don’t set a requirement for specific builds/class sets, we don’t skip any creatures or content in our path, and we most definitely do not utilize any bugs or glitches within the game no matter how hard the content is. We’re just here to have fun and show you everything a game has to offer.

We want to hear what the video gaming communities have to say. What do those of you that use walkthroughs look for in such content? What do you like to see? What don’t you like to see?

We appreciate all and any feedback we can get, so leave comments here, leave them on our channel, on our videos, like, dislike, or even check us out on facebook and twitter. Thanks for reading my long winded pitch and I hope to hear from you all soon.

Sincerely

“PTNThePartTimeNerd”
