Hello all!
Here are some examples of my work. If you have a tumblr, you may have already seen some of them…they are mostly sketches really, I am capable of doing more full paintings but I don’t have any examples with gw2 (the semi-painting of scarlet is the closest here, but I always refine my paintings a lot more than I did with her). And yes, I’m outing myself as one of the artists of the Lord Faren askblog…don’t hurt us, we mean no harm but to bring awareness to the sheer loveliness that is Lord Faren.

I’m considering doing gold commissions for gw2 on the side of actual commission work (which means I’d be offering artwork of guild wars 2 things in exchange for gold while I also do regular commission work). Would anyone be interested and how much would you offer for it, or for certain styles?

i don’t know what’s going on

I love this sketch style, and even more so now that you’ve made me aware of the Lord Faren askblog.

As for price range, I’d estimate a minimum range of ~10-15g for the styles you’ve offered. As a standard, I’d build your price range around approximately how many gold per hour you value your time at, and likely make adjustments according to demand thereafter. The wisest thing to do here is set a low queue to gauge that impact.

Well – same question has been asked literally 3 days ago. With really bad results. Quite a few people recommended to go 50 gold or more… The artist followed that road with no requests for a day or a day and a half and… gave up.
Examples on this forum shows that sometimes you need a bit of patience (Xandra was quiet for a day or two and now she is closed most of the time), sometimes you need to adjust yor price to the demand (poor duckgirl :-)) and sometimes you need to tone down your expectations (few examples here and there with price simply too high for the final effect).
So the only good advice I may give you – maybe start off with the price that you think is fair and adjust it versus demand.
