Guild Wars 2

Hey guys!
So I’m studying Hair and Makeup for Film and TV and London College of Fashion and I have a huge passion for anything fantasy oriented.
For my final piece I decided to create a character that could be seen in a feature film and I took my main inspiration from the Sylvari Race from Guild Wars 2.
Here are the images of the makeup I produced.
It took 2 weeks to design and sculpt and almost 7 hours to apply the prosthetics, colour and blend onto the model.

So amazing what’s possible with “make-up” when done by a pro.

Astounding! Did you have a favorite part of the design/application process?

Well, after doing a few makeups that require the full head I have to say that my favourite part in all of these is the actual sculpting. I like sculpting the shape of the creature because you can be as creative as you want with it!
I think my least favourite part is the removal of the makeup! Because that’s like another hour of time added after i’ve spent 7 hours applying haha
