I would like to start out by saying I am sorry for putting these pictures on RB and only 2 stickers were sold, about $0.30. I didn’t realize that I wasn’t able to use concept art on other sites. Originally I was going to make a shirt for myself through the site since I didn’t know of any other way to put it on one then decided to put some of the other pieces of art up also in case someone else wanted them like I did. If there is a way that I can repay this then I’ll gladly do it and wise up for my mistake.
Also all the Quaggan posts were taken down, no one wanted to buy them because the image was too small anyways :P

It is not just on this site. ANY online site follows copyright laws, as these are laws that are generally universal. If you’d like more information on copyright infringement, you should google it and see what all it has to say. It’s a very huge deal, and legal action can and will be taken if you infringe on people’s copyright. They can get to be very ugly cases, and are definitely not worth it.

If you didn’t create it completely, get permission from the original creator, or original artists to sell it, then do not use it. Unless the creator/artist has given explicit permission, you aren’t supposed to use it for anything really, be it free use (Non commercial works), or for making money.

Even doing something as small as re uploading the image with proper credits can become a legal thing, though you see people doing this all the time. Its a pretty sticky and egg-shell filled field, really. When in doubt, just don’t do it without permission lol

I’d love to see Anet try and put some of there old concept art out to be on apparel or as prints. I would definitely buy some of it to go with my wardrobe. The best I could find however was just the GW2 dragon 2 symbol on the shirt and some of Destiny’s Edge with cool effects. I really love their artwork and think it’s some of the best I’ve seen for games. Too bad most of them were never used or implemented in any way, in or out of game.
