Guild Wars 2

I made this stupid video from a few nights ago. Sorry about the audio, for some reason it didn’t get our voice comms or anything. It was mostly us screaming and laughing anyway. Lately, we have noticed the trend of all the servers in Tier1 NA has been to run ONE GIANT BALL OF PAIN on each borderland to smack into things. We usually like to tail zergs and take out the stragglers, like pack of lions(?) attacking some gazelles! Being a skirmishing/roaming group we need to improvise our own ways to get some somewhat even fights. Who said there isn’t a taunt skill in GW2?

It just seems the skill level is so low in these t1 zerg videos its hard for me to watch. Even watching you play I wasn’t really impressed. I guess its the product of pushing 11131113 for over a year.

you are doing it wrong! the correct and effective way to taunt a zerg is to place siege weapons all over in the open field. just place them, dont bother building, thats not the point. they will get drawn to it, like a zerging moth to a flame ram.

The mechanics devise by the genius devs lead to this. What you are seeing is the result of having bad ppl manage a great product: It becomes a terribad product.

Encouraging zergs with AOE limits, Downed state etc.

Just remove the downed state. You want your buddies to revive you>>spvp/pve that way.

If you are so bad you die to a group half or 1/3 your number then you deserve to run back from the wp.

You were right about it being a stupid video.

We were not a zerg, they were. The point was to attempt to separate some of the other players from the group which we succeeded in. Our commander brought his force against a smaller one that we split up a bit. I don’t see how this concept is so hard to grasp. Also yes, I find picking music to be the hardest part. Usually ends up with me hitting random on my player and finding a song.

Also, I’ve noticed a lot of you have difficulty counting

A better way of keeping reinforcements from getting to a keep is actually killing them

This guy knows what’s up. I used to do this all the time with flame rams. Always worked.

But they DID die. They were wiped by our zerg if you look at the minimap. Just because I wasn’t in the skill blob spamming 1 does not make it any different. Just see how many chased us into the camp. Separating forces works

You know, you are right. We need to do that more. We’ve been known to spam rams at north camp, but that is more trolling than actual taunting strategy.

…… you didn’t know what you were doing when you first started fighting did you? You were just swinging at air for a good min.

t1/t2 servers are a joke filled with people who don’t know how to play their classes.

Tricare is right, when us T1 servers recruit we ask a series of class related questions and if you get to many right we shun you to a better more skilled lower tier. Also as a requirement for any server that comes up to T1/T2, anet implemented a mind wipe so any skill you once had was left back for the other more skilled servers to use.

lol nice.. That was when I very first started playing Warrior, no idea he recorded that kitten.. Had I seen it I would have been embarrassed, certainly not posting it to brag about rofl…
