This guy is not e very good communicator (not even close to it) but he speaks the truth and his suggestions are valid imo.

The part where he goes over how the skills could actually have a use instead of just being spammed is exactly what Anet needs to hear.

He’s right about the overhaul though. It’s very unlikely to happen.

If you turn off the sound this video is about an ex-drug addict giving advices and telling his life-story.

Otherwise, totally agree with Helseth.

I’m a huge fan of Helseth’s viewpoints. He is spot on. I remember when he got banned for speaking the truth when so many “pros” were playing apologists.

I think that is the most frustrating thing about this game, there is SO much potential and promise, and so many little things that keep it from getting there.

lmao, its a good video. His points are very accurate.

The problems he has discussed have been in the game for a while. Too much damage on some classes, rewarding spamming, little punishment for casting spells.

I think people are just noticing it now because the popular classes they played are getting kill by something easily now and are figuring out the problems with the games mechanics. If they fix necromancers, ranges, etc. I’d love them to fix illusion spamming, heartseeker spamming, etc.

Well ya that’s what he said at the very beginning. He called out his own class lol.

I personally think that every skill ought to have a time and a place and spamming should never be a viable strategy
