Welcome to Shilane’s somewhat revised art thread. In addition to Request Wednesdays, I’m adding gold commissions because I think it’s time I started doing some quality work for all you super deserving and lovely people. Like I said, I’ve been overwhelmed by how kind people have been to me and I’m only confident enough to be opening commissions at all because of you guys. So thank you for your continuing support.

About Request Wednesdays

Streams start every Wednesday at 5PM PST at http://twitch.tv/shilane
Be prepared to provide good quality references!
Quality will vary with my mood and health: I consider these to be of sketch quality and not polished. There will be times where I may too fatigued or ill to do much more than a basic sketch. If you’re really put off by it, we can discuss me revisiting your request when I’m feeling better.
I can’t guarantee that I will colour them either: I will try to put some basic shading but it’s really, really unlikely that any one request will become a fully painted piece.
*If I’m really taken with your character, I may do a more completed piece.
I’m unwilling to do nsfw work for free as part of these requests: it’s been a problem in the past and I’m explicitly saying it so no one will be disappointed.

*Tips are appreciated and are accepted in the form of in game gold. I’ve never had more than 100 gold ever so any amount is fine, really, even 10 silver would make me smile.

Oh wow, you’re too kind and your lady is gorgeous! I’d love to draw her. I think as of right now, you have one person ahead of you but I should be able to get to her next Monday if towards the end of the stream.

BTW, I just want to say thank you to everyone who’s shown up so far and tipped, you guys are so fabulous and all so nice and so, so generous. I honestly did not expect tips at all and the amount that you guys are tipping is really great. Last night I reached 100g for the first time since launch and for me that’s really huge so thank you guys, couldn’t have done it without you. And on another hand, this experience has really helped me grow more confident in drawing and has been great practice as I hammer out some style and technique issues.

So thank you guys so much for letting me practice with your characters, you’re all babes.

Sorry babes, but I’m cancelling the stream for tonight. I’m having a really awful time right now and I’m just not up to it. If there’s massive disappointment, which I sort of doubt, I’ll move the stream to tomorrow evening, but for today, I need the mental health day.

True facts, I just woke up and have a huge migraine so not entirely sure what we’ll be getting through today. Sorry for the late start guys!

Just a heads up, there will not be a stream tomorrow. My best friend is moving to the UK in a week and I need to down to San Diego to help him pack and probably will be gone all day because of it. If there’s a demand, I’ll move the stream to Tuesday at 5pm.

i have a small request.i dont like my guantlets and i have been trying to get the accended armor skin ones…..sadly…..thats a big grind Q.Q

oh and for pose…..can u have something like this
with the sword im holding being the fractal 1h sword. perhaps anomaly in the hand thats being held up like its grasping something (i have it) and twilight on my back
and for specific changes to the pose perhaps making me more strait and holding the 1hsword slightly more angled away from my body

You do understand that these are bust requests, correct? I don’t guarantee anything beyond that. For the level of pickiness that you’re asking for, I’d probably bump it up to a commission which would require gold.

It’s a Monday! I feel like crap so enjoy me being a grump while I try to draw and maybe fall out of my chair! We’ll see! Adventure!

[@Chaos] Streams begin at 5pm PST on Mondays. Occassionally they are moved to Tuesdays if I’m busy or feeling too unwell on Monday. I always post when that happens. Hope to see you there so we can figure out how to keep you happy with the request without me feeling like I should be charging for it.

Oh yeah, and in other news, I finished my first GW2 commission and finally got all paid up for it so I guess I can post it here PM me if you are interested in a commission piece~

Alright, stream is going to start up late if at all. We have guys working on our AC, just replacing the whole thing and my desk is set up next to the thermostat. It’s making it pretty difficult to work but with any luck they’ll be done soon.

EDIT: It’s a Monday! The AC guys just left, so we’re up and running now!
