Guild Wars 2

Hello everyone! I wanted to share my entry to the Rock the Nightmare contest which you can check out here: Rock the Nightmare

I’m proud of the results given the limited resources that were available and put in a lot of work to make something unique based on the music.

However to my disappointment I am unable to submit it via the official form any more. Due to the confusing way the deadline was written I scheduled to have everything wrapped up by midnight tonight, November 26th. I have never heard of a deadline ending mid day before. I stayed up all night to ensure it would render in time and what was going to be a big sigh of relief has turned into something incredibly demoralizing. I can’t imagine I’m the only one who will be caught out by this.

I would encourage Anet to extend the deadline looking for entries that have been submitted on the 26th. Whether that would happen though will be anyone’s guess. In the meantime though I hope you enjoy the video and best of luck to those who entered!

Great job on your video! I like the concept you used, like a trailer or an opening theme song. The visuals are all very well done.

Me too! I thought I had till midnight as well and worked around all my school projects to get it done for tonight…

Thanks, and well done with your entry too! Nicely timed to the music and the /guitar was a nice touch. They really need to add all those into GW2. Again sorry about the missed deadline, hopefully you had fun making it at least.

Glad you liked it! I enjoyed making the “Krait Wars 2” logo, thought it would be fitting for the event :P
