Guild Wars 2

Hey there,

when playing the BETA for Guild Wars 2 we all experienced the desperate moments waiting at the loading screen while listening to the main theme by Jeremy Soule. It than came to my idea to write an alternative to it, which I later combined to a small fan-made trailer. Since some people seem to rather enjoy the track, I hope some of you might share this opinion as well. Have fun listening!

Really nice. I like how it picks up at 40s.
I have to admit tho, that appart from the original bits, I did not feel this as a part from the GW universe. It has a very different setting feeling imo.

I think it feels like this, cause the original GW2 tracks by Jeremy Soule are very much different. They tend to be slower, calmer and therefore appear more grand, which fits the game in most cases very good. My track gets very high paced and unpredictable, which I tend to do quite often. ^^

Some parts felt very ochestral. Had an epic, dangerous, gloomy feeling to it
I’m guessing you did this on music software?

Well, of course I didnt have a real orchestra. ^^

I use Cubase 6.5 and EWQL Symphonic Orchestra to realize my scores as a listenable output.
