"Still Alive" Guild Wars Style
That was genuinely epic and impressive!
Loved it <3
You have entirely too much free time on your hands
Ya..ya…I know…pot…kettle…black…
But here’s my body – So rez me maybe?
You’re a gentleman and a scholar. Or a gentlewoman and a scholar.
That is amazing!
Is that the underwater organ in Caledon Forest?
wow! that was awesome.
Whoa, that blew me away. Made my day =). Liked the Billie Jean vid also.
Fantastic job :-)
Really impressive
I’m completely blown away, shared the vid with my g+
That is amazing!

Yep, Caledon Forest indeed. I wanted to use the one in Ebonhawke to avoid the underwater sound effects, but it’s bugged at the moment
holy hells o0
This is amazing (my boyfriend insisted on playing it again and again and again… xD)
Very well done!

A few people have asked for a mp3 version of this, so I’ve uploaded it to soundcloud:
https://soundcloud.com/hecksa/still-alive-a-guild-wars-2
It should be downloadable from there, but not having used soundcloud before I can’t guarantee it. Hopefully it’s all ok. Sadly not having the video as a distraction does draw attention to the pops/crackles, but..eh…you asked for it.
It may have taken a long, long time, but I would say it was time well spent. Thanks for bringing your creativity to the game and sharing it!
Amazing! Truly amazing! I sure hope more musical instruments gets added in the game so YOU can make more of these covers!
This is truly amazing. I can’t believe you did all this using only the consumable bells, too! I just sent you an Unbreakable Choir Bell in the mail, you definitely deserve it. Thanks for sharing!
Gonna bump this, more people should see this!
I tried it aswell but my bell broke,… ;(
Amazing work, loved it !!!!
Sadly not having the video as a distraction does draw attention to the pops/crackles, but..eh…you asked for it.
This seems to have less of the extra bell ‘whoosh’ than Billie Jean. The noise removal thing in Audacity is pretty good for editing out stuff like that, and the high pass/low pass filters can be useful, too.
Anyway, this was indeed a triumph!
/e standing ovation
Agreed very nicely done.
