This is a true and fair point, but the same criticism can be said of Sigils of Renewal (even if it didn’t have a CD, there’s still 9 or 10 seconds of waiting between switching back and forth weapons in combat), and those prices are exceptionally higher than Sigils of Water at the moment.

Only a few stacks, I swear.

To be honest, I am impressed with the new sigil of water. I only have 300 HP on my shouthealing warrior at the moment, so my base heal for the water proc is only about 400. However, in a build that provides a lot of regeneration besides, that 400 is a welcome addition.

Add that to the fact that it will proc against marauding stoneheart elementalists, and it’s a reasonable alternative to the on crit blood sigil.

It synergizes well with sigil of life too. Put it on a commanding guardian’s sword, and life on his/her shield, and you have a formidable WvW weapon, assuming he/she is properly built.

plus, now the cooldown is 5 seconds, which is the same as blood.

I don’t know about more DPS oriented builds, but water works for me.
