The heroes gathered for the first time in Hoelbrak. They had been summoned there by a distress call put out by Pact soldiers from the north in Frostgorge. The Flame Legion had been using some very powerful and new magic and they needed heroes to get to the bottom of it.
As the heroes traveled north they met many people. Helping a variety of players. Battling icebrood and a variety of enemies while coming to the aid of those who called. They finally reached their destination and were briefed on the situation by on of the Vigil Commanders at the post. He described a well known legionnaire in the Flame Legion that was involved in the most recent battle where he and his soldiers used the magic. The heroes set off into the heart of the Flame Legion, Fireheart Rise, to attack this legionnaire and get to the bottom of it.
The battle between the Legionnaire and the heroes as a tough one and much blood was spilled. After finally defeating him, they found a lockbox that was bounded by ancient Flame Legion magic. Upon realize they could not opened it, they had to seek someone who could. A bitter Asura in her lab deep in a volcano. They ventured inside to seek her help but she responded with hostility. After passing a few of her trails, they were finally able to find a peice of her lab equipment that could open the box. With it opened they found a map that lead to an apparent secret flame legion testing facility where they tested and formed new spells. The heroes knew where they had to go, but first they had to escape the clutches of the Asura and her lab.
As the heroes headed in the direction of the lab, they encountered even more foes and more cries for help from the locals. As they passed through the Iron Marshes, another group of adventurers contacted them and requested help with a high ranking Flame Legion Shaman in the area. Knowing this would strike a huge blow to their upcoming enemy and perhaps reduce the chances of the testing facility recieving reinforcements, they obliged and went to battle.
After defeating the Shaman, they were able to finally reach the facility. It was inside of an old Ascalonian Tomb. They went through it killing every last Flame Legion that was there and eventually taking out the head spellcrafter known as Rhendak. This rendered the facility useless, but sadly what they found raised even more questions. The scrolls scattered throughout the facility were clearly not of charr or Flame Legion origin. How did they get these ancient scrolls? Where did they get them?
Many more questions need answering.
