So I don’t want to get in trouble for posting things I shouldn’t…. but this was just too good to pass up.

Like a lot of people, I believe parody is the highest form of flattery, and though I liked the new preview video I wasn’t a huge fan of the soundtrack behind it (nothing wrong with metal, it just didn’t fit the video to me at all really). So when a friend sent me this I felt I had to share it with the world. Please enjoy, and take it for what it is, harmless fun ^-^

And also, the Guild Wars franchise as a whole’s plot is basically at the bottom of the MMO industry’s barrel.

Not sure I’d go quite that far. There are far far worse. Take one look at Nexon or Perfect World Entertainment for examples.

I was kinda only considering MMOs which had a storyline. PW and Nexon’s games (apart from Vindictus) didn’t even bother with a story.

I really have to disagree with that unless your talking purely about GW2. I’ve been reading up and GW1 had some really good plot’s/lore. Unfortunately GW2 hasn’t followed in its predecessors footsteps and instead gone for this lowbrow, comical, almost childlike storytelling. The dialogue has been cringe worthy lately, ever time I hear Scarlet rabbit on like a 10yr old I want to puke, its dropped off a lot since the Personal story.

After seeing this I went back and watched Britney’s Toxic video and was astonished to see Scarlet make an appearance! It’s true! There’s only one explanation – when the reactor blew the world’s fabric turned inside out and Scarlet has used her understanding of the Eternal Alchemy to bend the fabric of the space/time continuum and is now sporting around in pop music videos of the past!

I kind of feel this music actually improves the trailer.

Ha ha, this is the exact song I thought of when I heard the whole ‘toxic’ theme in The Nightmare Within living story XD so fitting for the trailer too! Good job whoever did it
