It seemed as a calm and tranquil day at Creator’s Commons in Rata Sum, and that made the citizens to feel a sharp sense of unease and worry; a day not dominated by asuran work sounds, explotions and the occasional rampages of an out-of-control machine was a bad omen, a sign that something was about to happen….

All eyes were turned to the center plaza, were a huge machine was lying under a heavy shroud, and Caellum, its creator, kept going in circles waiting for the arrival of the Counsellors to reveal his new and greatest work. He had been the center of attention ever since arriving, having been one of the asura that travelled to the Zephyrite Sanctum, studied under the aspect masters, and got caught in the turmoil of Scarlet’s ambitions, losing his entre Krewe in Lion’s Arch defense.

When High Counsellor Flax arrived, it was in a hurry, with the typical scowl of an asura that had to let an experiment wait to attend to other matters, barely nodded at Caellum, and sit with arms crossed to wait for the rest of the Counsellors and suffer through the standard set of apologies for delays and inescapable compromises. His mind raced over what Caellum might have found, knowing well that he was never reported to have arrived by the Asura Gate or any other means of transport. When the rest of the Arcane Council was already in place and waiting, Caellum stood and addressed the audience.

- “Salutations, and welcome to this presentation. I ask for the forgiveness of the Council, as I had to change the location of my presentation to this plaza, but the Geomystical generators for the Council Level can’t accommodate for the transport of my findings ”. said Caellum, sweeping the attendance with his eyes, taking into account reactions and general mood. – “As you know, I was charged with travelling to Zephyr Sanctum and gather all data I could for the improvement of our understanding of Aspect Magic, and their famous crystals.”

- “Certainly we did, but that doesn’t explain the reason we had to move here, Caellum”, said Flax, still with arms crossed, and non-impressed.
- “Yes, I will get to that, thank you. Continuing, I arrived to the Sanctum with my Krewe and were well received, and must say, even if not smart in metamystical laws, at least Zephyrites do well for lab assistants. We did discovered that crystals share enough similarities with arcanic motivator crystals as to be used in the same refination processes, they provide added bonuses depending on the type used, and mystic energy outputs are superior than our actual power crystals for golem articulation and integrity”.

Excited whispers and frantic annotations on holo-noters were heard everywere, as the Counsellors stayed wide-eyed and unbelieving at such a flagrant display of free-given knowledge, had he gone mad? Didn’t he care to keep his research a secret? If so, what did he learn that such information was so trivial?

- “Continuing experimentation proved difficult, as the events happening around Tyria kept me from having a stable location to keep adequate following of scalar progression of etheric resonance and alchemic transition of power couplings, but at least we produced results the month we spend on Lion’s Arch before the invasion. We adapted a Golem to operate with arcanic motivators made from lightning crystal, known for its magnetomagic pull capabilities, and a sun crystal contraption to the underside to alleviate weight issues.”

- “And should we believe that you just strapped crystals to a golem and created the next generation in golemantic studies? Should we remember you that you were just to return your findings to the council so we could evaluate the possibilities of application for their knowledge?! ”, said Councillor Yahk, somewhat smug, and continued – “Besides, that cloaked figure can’t hide the golem you have underneath, and if the crystals needed are so large, the Golem should have blown sky high due to elomantic cuagulonical resonance“

- “Ah, but that’s no Golem, it’s a Power Suit.”, said Caellum matter-of-factly.

- “….?!?!?”, Counsellor Yahk couldn’t find words to that.

- “-sigh- there goes the dramatic reveal then…”

Caellum pulled the shroud, and to everyone’s view came a mixture of golem pieces, different to any golem ever seen by asuran standards.
- “You are are certainly right, the first golem did blew with such power that we only recovered the hollow shell, the upper part, at least, and repurposed it as a kittenpit, and we had to make use or some banker golems we found on Lion’s Arch Black Lion Company and all the materials we could muster form the foundries around mystic plaza. To our amazement, someone had left in their hurry a full cargo of deldrimor metal and Xunlai electrum, making our frame for this powersuit the lightest and strong possible without losing flexibility”.

- “Also, as I will demonstrate now, when I corrected my first calculations, I’ve achieved the feat of a FLYING GOLEM!!!”, that said, Caellum climbed the golem, activated it, and after huge crystal deposits emerged from the suit’s legs and shoulders, it lifted in a rush of wind and a whirring sound, leaving traces of aspect magic trailing after the machine’s graceful circling of the Council Level Cubic construction.

High Counsellor Flax kept looking at the machine, easily twice the height of a normal Mark I golem or more, amazed at such out-of-the-box thinking for an almost elderly asura; in his late 90’s, Caellum has been even better than the time he got the Snaff price with his M.I.G. Golem, and now was reaping the seeds he sowed that time. Something must be made before his research comes out of control, Flax thought.

This is outrageous!!! How could they say my power suit is an illegal COPY?!?, I agree, yes, the inner kittenpit takes some pointers from Motto’s S.A.B. to use the arcanic motivator lens and display a spherical image inside the pilot’s seat, but its original research, no matter how it looks the same. And the fact that I had stolen and used asuran patents without permission, as if anyone could go past Archivist Grep to get them… they want to discredit me! ME!, the greatest golemancer ever to come after Snaff’s students!, I even used his papers on Telephatronics to make my pilots use the aspect crystals while inside the suit and pilot at the same time. And the nerve of saying that my Etheric Condensator-Induced Beam Cannon was a fluke! IT’S THE SAME GLITCHING CANNON FROM THE VIGIL PROTOTYPE BATTLE SUIT!!!!!!…. Huff, huff, control, Caellum, control. I have to finish the draft, I must probe that I’m not a thief, and get payback for them daring to try and bury my discoveries.

This blueprints are for a Combat/Aerial powersuit y developed from Aspect Magic , designed to accommodate from the smallest asura to the biggest norm or charr. Why free? Retaliation. They want to appropriate my data and manipulate my work to their own means; instead, If everyone gets this, any asura with a drop of college worth can built it, and everyone will know that I, Caellum, was the creator of such masterpiece.

Machine specifically designed for operation on multiples enviroments including aerial deployment and limited underwater use.
Specifications are as follows:
• Golem inner frame made from Deldrimor Metal for strength, and Xunlai Electrum panels installed over normal frame for flexibility.
• Control panels Refined from crystalline ore allows for holografic controls that don’t shake during movement.
• 360 degree display inside the control seat, for enhanced view.
• Crystalline infusion to frame behaves as follows
o Wind Crystal = Suit dodges in a floating dash (provides upward thrust at full output)

o Sun Crystal = Suit hovers along the floor at fast speed (Flight speed 20% faster than common Airship, but subjected to crystal charge levels)

o Lightning Crystal = Golem’s arcane motivators are stronger, improving strenght in extremities.

• Circular Etheric conection ports on wrists allows for installing equipment as needed, basic model includes a glyphic Greatsword on each wrist.
• Hands contain Etheric Condensator-Induced Beam Cannons on each palm, output lower than Vigil prototype, but makes up for it in linked fire mode (both beams at once), each cannon can fire once every 25 seconds, 45 on linked fire).
• Engine Crystal Matrix has been grown around a spherical shaped power crystal, so electroaetheric emanations can resonate with the matrix, enhancing the amount of power output generated, consuming globs of dark matter as fuel. Termocatalithic reagents must be changed every time the machine goes through maintenance.
