Want a theme composed for your character?
You already wrote a theme for my character Rosja, if you want to avoid writing more than one for the same person
Sorchja, sylvari elementalist (a very clumsy one, prone to set things on fire accidentally!)
Cycle of noon, Order of Whispers initiate
Some people have a talent for appearing calm and collected when they have no idea what they’re doing, for putting on a bold face and pretending they have a plan as their hopes crumble around them. Sorchja’s demeanor is completely opposite. Under pressure, she always panics, often cries, and usually knows exactly what she will do. To those who don’t know her well, she seems to alternate between only two emotional states: despondent panic and buoyant joy. But under this turbulence she is incredibly stubborn and confident in her own ideas. Fear might make her cry, but it will never make her change her mind.
She has an interest in almost everything, but confidence and talent in almost nothing. She can remember faces and names (usually right if often unsure), but can’t seem to leave the grove without getting lost, or even cross a room without stumbling. She’s the clumsiest agent the Order has ever seen, helpful to them undercover as a cheerful fool no one would suspect, but a miserable failure if she has to fight or hide. She’d be friends with everyone she meets if she could, though many find her enthusiasm annoying.
She wishes she could be more helpful, and keeps trying new things, hoping to find some hidden talent. And, Mother, could she have a Wyld Hunt? Being a valiant would make life so much simpler. She could know what she was meant to do, and just do it!
in fact, we’re going to put the goons to sleep.
Meanwhile – we dig.
New theme! This one was created for Cyane Imara.
A norn huntress with an affinity for the wild gave me the perfect opportunity to create an orchestral piece inspired by the Heart of Thorns soundtrack. I wanted it to feel primal, and I achieved that through surprisingly non-ethnic means; rototoms, sticks, and timpani were used throughout the piece to give it a sort of “jungle percussion” feel. With each loop, I wanted to present the feeling of stalking prey, striking, and the ensuing chase or battle.

I think my characters "Caluthon (Darkjoy) & Chaliann (Joyblast)" could be interesting for a song
They are brother and sister Charr and have an interesting backstory
Caluthon:
Gender: Male
Race: Charr
Profession: Necromancer
Chaliann:
Gender: Female
Race: Charr
Profession: Engineer
They were cubs, living together on a farm with their parents. Chaliann was always a big fan of joining the Iron Legion and building the biggest, best gun there ever would be. Until once upon a certain day, the ascalonian ghosts ravaged their family’s farm. Kidnapped their mother and Calu & Chali had to flee together with their father. One of the ghosts hit Calu with a curse, and his father tried hard to keep Calu on his back to run to safety.
A few ghost siege weapons appeared behind them and their father got hit by a trebuchet. Calu & Chali had to leave him behind. They fled to the Black Citadel, however when they found out what happened to Calu, they sent him to the Durmand Priory so they could figure out what happened and give him training in how to control his necromancy powers. Chali missed him terribly during his absence, she was very afraid of becoming a gladium and never finding any friends around. Time passed and once Calu returned to the Black Citadel, Chali had made a new asuran friend. They made the Joy Warband together
Chali joined the Vigil together with her asuran friend to get stronger and avenge the ghosts.
Calu stayed in the Priory to spend his days reading books since he’s afraid to use his necromancer powers.

Hello Dusk! Here’s my character Rubiel, hoping that he’ll inspire you like he inspires me.
Name: Rubiel.
Race: Human.
Gender: Male.
Profession: Necromancer.
Story:
The treaty between Human and Charr had just been signed, when a mysterious gift was sent allegedly from the Iron Legion to Queen Jenna. The Shining Blades were suspicious about it, so they asked a group of Priory Scholars to examine the artifact.
It turned out that it really was an attempt to kill the Queen and the research team found it out at their expenses; the artifact exploded, the tower where they were running the test collapsed, and nobody survived. Except one.
Rubiel wasn’t part of the Priory yet, but that day he was invited to attend the experiment anyway. Nobody was expecting it to turn into such a catastrophe.
When a fragment of the artifact pierced Rubiel’s chest, his body became somewhat indestructible, frozen in time, and that’s what prevented him from being crushed under the debris like the rest of the Priory team. However, such a convenient advantage came with a cost: he was cursed by something similar to what torments the Charr cubs in the Iron Marches. His soul and body were separated. Even if Rubiel manages to possess and manipulate his own body like a puppet thanks to his necromantic powers, the lack of connection between body and soul prevents him from feeling anything. He can’t eat, sleep, feel pain. It’s like living in a limbo.
He blames the Charr for the explosion, for the death of his friends and the unbearable curse affecting him, and his anger attracts Ascalonian Ghosts who are eager to help him with his revenge against the whole Charr race. Little he knows that there’s a bigger mystery about how the artifact arrived in DR.

Thank you so much! It’s just perfect!
Looking at my less than perfect screenie i thought i’d attach a much better one for you to use as a video background/thumbnail if you like. Completely up to you, i just want to do honor to the music.

Too late to change it now, unfortunately.
I’d advise everyone who is still watching this thread and has a better screenshot or picture for their character to always consider updating their original post. I make the picture selection mere hours before I upload any given piece.

New theme! This one was created for Captain Kace.
A treasure hunter with a rogue sailor aesthetic was the perfect chance for me to go all Bryan Tyler and do a pirate-inspired theme for the character. It’s still largely “classical” in its instrumentation to fit the theme of the game, but I made it unique and fitting to the character in a multitude of ways; a combination of fast-paced violas, cinema-style Mahler hammer samples, a solo violin I tried for a long time to get anywhere close to “fiddle” articulations, and a live-played acoustic guitar all add up to a very fitting character theme for a Tyrian treasure hunter.
This marks the final character theme I’ll be choosing for Second Wave. I’ll be taking a break from composing other peoples’ characters’ themes for a while while I work on bonus tracks for the album release and other projects. Third Wave will be happening eventually though, so post your character if you want a shot!

Greetings, DusK! I’m very much interested in your beautiful compositions, and I absolutely adore music! To have one for one of my own characters would be simply marvelous!
Shadelle Gildedmaw: a ferocious female necromancer of the Ash Legion (and later on Order of Whispers), Shadelle is kind to none but her only surviving original warbandmate and best friend, Dinky. Born to a gladium sire, her respected Blood warrior mother raised her alone in Kryta for many years, until one day when her mother decided to return to the Black Citadel. Shortly after being enrolled in a fahrar, her mother was murdered by renegades. Being that her mother was the only ever family Shadelle had known (excluding her “weird” new warband), the warrior’s death scarred the young cub permanently. She vowed to bring back her mother through the dark magic of necromancy, and has since shut off her emotions. Gildedmaw focuses mostly on her deathly work, relishing the dark aura she projects. She rather enjoys frightening others, cannot stand human females as they “are too prissy and frail”, and hates just about every living thing (except Dinky). Shrouded in angst and consumed by her own grief, Shadelle has yet to realize the joys the world can bring, and most likely never will.
If you’re still composing themes, I will request one.
This is for Myrie Ward, my human thief. (Age: 23) Originally born into wealth and nobility, her father’s mental decline at the hands of the Dragonbrand drove her to seek income elsewhere. As a sneak thief, Myrie is known to have an almost-supernatural ability to pick pockets, often doing so subconsciously as a nervous habit. She is snarky, witty, and cynical to most, but underneath her layer of city dirt lies a heart of gold. To those she befriends, the emerald-eyed thief is kind, loyal, and protective. The biggest blow to her personal life came with the death of her childhood friend, Quinn, who only told her of his deeper feelings when he felt called upon to right his wrongs and defend Divinity's Reach from Myrie's former (and then-rogue) gang. She now travels with his favorite pistol, the "Master Blaster", and his etched engagement ring wound on a chain around her neck as she travels with the noble Selana Firestone (whom she views as a sort of big sister who is not only too devoted to the rules, but is also immensely fun to irritate) and their increasingly-motley crew.
