Guild Wars 2

My idea is that Anet organizes some kind of competition for GW2 video makers. That will bring the community closer to gether and inspire more people to work and even watch GW2 videos. Right now 90% on GW2 videos are about WvW fights or PvP fights, but there aren’t many actual videos (or so called machinimas).

The ideal thing would be that Anet staff are like judges and they vote on winner or who gets eliminated if there are multiple rounds (could have a different challenge from Anet or different topic for each round?)
And of course in the beginning they should just have everyone submit whatever so they (Anet staff) can choose who will enter the competition (so there aren’t too many videos to judge). So yeah, I think it would be a good idea and wouldn’t take that much effort from you Anet people.

Yes, yes, yes. Machinima is one of the things I love about MMOs and ANet needs more of it, we need more of it in GW2. Can you imagine if ANet released the to the player base the same software they use to make their cut scenes? We could see some amazing machinima.
