I can safely say that I’m not alone with following famous youtubers and/or streamers for a game I like.
To be specific, I follow Archon the wizard for Diablo III news, theorycrafting etc., because he is a nice guy, has well built structured way of thinking with many point of views and makes his content to be very entertaining even if it’s only a VLOG, without dumbing down the standards. Same fame and respect goes for Force from channel ForceStrategyGaming who used to be a StarCraft II commentator, but focuses on game industry news nowadays. Then there is Kripparian, maybe Athene (personally I don’t like him, but that’s just me) for Diablo III content again. Then there is Angry Joe for… everything.
Who is worth following for Guild Wars 2? Providing high standard content at least weekly or more often? I follow Nemesis (channel I am one and I am legion) because he used to make almost horribly long, very detailed content for necromancers and the game is general, but his is a small (no offense, but kinda “noname”) channel.
