Why GW2 didn't work for alot of people
Either that’s not the real Zero Punctuation guy, or his voice has changed in a HUGE way for that one video…

it isn’t the real one it’s jeremy making a parody. He’s the head actor of purepwnage.com , the most popular gaming web series ever made.
Another most popular critic that I’ve never heard of. Oh well, it’s probably just me
I did take a quick peek just to be fair – honestly, play FPS if you are not interested in the MMORPG genre, you know, where a big part is about the characters and not just the pew-pew.
Conclusion: Sorry, not relevant.
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
The fact that he used the word “n00b” makes me not take him seriously as a critic. Times change, people change and want different things in life. This also applies to games . If this method of playing for rewards and achievements wasn’t fun there wouldn’t be a call of duty 4, WoW, BF3, etc. Games would go back to what they once were. But that’s not what happened. Those games sell in the millions. Just because it doesn’t work for you, does not mean it doesn’t work.
Also define a lot of people? GW2 sold over 2 million copies in less than a month. With those numbers i’d say a lot would be 500k, even 100k.
