Hello all! I’ve had the idea for a novel rattling around in my head since just after season one of the Living Story. I would like to speak with someone from ArenaNet whom I could bounce my ideas off of to make sure that they are lore-friendly and acceptable to the intellectual property. Does anyone have any ideas on how to go about doing that?

You might have better luck sending them a completed manuscript, they are unlikely to take time out and talk to some one who hasn’t shown anything.

I think in terms of intellectual property, ANet has stated that unless you claim to own the universe or attempt to monetizing it, they are fine with you writing your things. (Heck, I’ve been writing my fanfic for four years now!) Just be sure to not sell the work and I think they should be okay. Best of luck!
