Tonight was my first night out in the borderlands with AoN. Needless to say, we ended up with this:

We are on T2 Fort Aspenwood. It was quite fun seeing a zerg fall. ^^

A single portal = 20 people max … hardly a zerg or difficult or unheard of or first time either.

You could trait better as a staff ele but pretty good all the same.

Google Cynical, there are a semi-casual PvE guild…. It’s good that you guys play with combo fields but I see nothing ’’impressive’’ there.

That’s not over-communication at all tbh. Speaking just general things to keep communication rolling, even normal things, is common and healthy for good group play. If your comms are silent in a battle it’s a negative.

My bad… Was expecting intuitive gameplay with a relaxed banter in comms or something…. Not a Mountain Dew drink-off commercial… Trying way too hard for such mediocre results

I’d like to clear something up that’s always been prevalent in any of my videos.

My group and myself don’t ever go around searching for “weak” people to fight or “bad, dumb zergs”. We want to fight people that are challenging for us. Unfortunately, half the zergs either get completely annihilated like this one in the video, or they will run away from us or bring 50 people (sometimes even seige) to zerg down an 8 man group (which is big for us since we normally run 3-5).

I could put up videos of us dying vs 50 man zergs, but how entertaining would that be?

I’ve also always received an influx of “this would never fly in T1 or T2 play, etc.” Well, I’ve played on about 4 different servers now from T5 to T1 and now I’m in T2. The zergs and players are all the same to me because of how much I invested into learning how to play the game and playing tournament PvP. The only difference is the zergs get bigger the more you go up.

thats the normal supply camp capping team in EU tier 1 as said above,
and none of them were organised and were very confused and didn’t not engaged atall , u just picked people off.

Zoose on FA? ERMAGERD I didn’t even know! Now we have Zoose AND Excala.

Just to point something out, having no or very little communication is not always a bad thing for small mans. The groups I run with we barely say a word during our fights and if we do its real quick 1-3 word phrases. It all depends on how well the players play together.

While the video itself offers something that happens daily, there is a lot of communication for how little of fighting actually happened, but that’s not a bad thing either.

Post a video, collect tears. Love it.

Hey dude hope your stay on FA is a little longer than last time.

AoN does this all the time. You should run with them more.

FA will be my home for quite a while now that I am a part of AoN. ^^

Thank you for all the comments both good and bad. I"ll look to improve video quality and such in the future. This is the first night in a month’s time I’ve touched gw2 wvw. Not bad. I’ll do better next time ; )

Where do you guys keep finding these brainless opponents that stand there and die. Should spend a week on a top 1/3rd EU server and see how well you do.

When I read ‘annihilates zerg portal’ I was expecting something like this

but your vid was pretty cool thou despite the misleading title.

I was there on the TC side I just want to let you know CYN only had about 8 people on and most there were militia that kept leaving to go fight at NW camp and attack the Garrison. The mesmer portal bomb you destroyed was a new group trying to learn how to play WvW. AoN is a very respected guild in my eyes but that title is pretty misleading.

AoN controlled that TC zerg very well, TC tried like three portals and failed.

Awesome crowd control.

Glad you made it to AoN Zoose…they are topnotch.

I think you’ll like all the juicy zergs in Tier 2.
