Guild Wars 2

It was a cold and dark night in Lions arch, a tired Charr adventurer walks the night alone.
he thought to himself “ah! what a great day pummeling flame-legion traitors” “i should find some place here to rest for the night”. he continued walking the lone gravel road, deep in thought of what many things he would do at dawn, but a cheeky voice spoke from nowhere “ah what a pleasant surprise seeing someone up at this time around” the Charr in shock, raised his sword and shield and said “who speaks from the shadows?” a light flashes as the tiny figure lights his candles. As it turns out it was an Asura, lingering within his gypsy cart towed by 2 dolyaks, he then spoke “are you up for a challenge, you old fool?” the Charr replied in an aggressive tone “what sort of challenge is it?”. the Asura replied in a sly tone “oh just a game of wits i suppose” the Charr sheathes his weapons and said “bring it on” the Asura finally said " im sure you wonder what is the prize hmmm?" before the Charr could speak the Asura said “its an antique lamp, fueled with magic, magic that can only be achieved by wit!” the charr then said “alright shoot!”

the Asura began to ramble and curse trying to pick the hardest of riddles,wisdom and even tales "finally the Asura said " a norn , a charr , a tengu entered the tavern, but only one left alive…..who was it? the Charr began thinking but it took him a few seconds to

find the answer. he then spoke “a norn left the tavern” surprised by the Charr’s intelligence, the asura then said “how did you know? its impossible! how can an asura be beaten in a game of wits?” the charr then said “its possible, and the answer is quite obvious too!” the Asura then says “then what happened to the charra and the tengu?” the Charr replied “the norn just sat and watched the charr and the tengu kill each other,then he left after the show ended” regretfully the Asura hands over the lamp and wacks his dolyaks to get moving. the Asura left and so did the charr continue his long walk to a nearby tavern victorious.

and that my friends is the tale that lifts the hearts of Charr and shuns the minds of the Asura
